When she said Tori was on the ground, why couldn't Tori get up and run away? I saw tweets with her kicking Tori and tweets of him kicking Tori. Did Tori recoil, scream, react in pain at this point? I didn't see all the tweets and maybe this part was not reported. Who put Tori on the ground and was she even conscious at that point? Is it possible Tori was strangled when she was put on the ground? How could she just be lying there if she was not already severely injured? Was Tori already dead when she was hit in the head with the hammer?

I think when the ME will testify to the autopsy reports, we may get the answers to those questions. There is much more heart wrenching testimony to come, imo. TLM was in such a drug induced rage that she probably doesn't even know if Tori was dead or alive by that point.

IIRC IT was stated that MR tossed VS to the ground and TLM began kicking her. One tweet from CITY TV stated that MR kicked, but I believe that was an error. No mention if she was moving or screaming at this time.

Any articles yet from Rosie Dimanno, the Globe or Blatchford yet? They usually put out all the relevant details in one article. JMO

A few minutes later, McClintic heard screams and when she went back to the car, Tori was on the ground.

McClintic, whose testimony was marked by quiet sobbing and long pauses, said she then put a garbage bag on Tori`s head and started kicking the child.

She then struck her with a hammer.

“Who struck her with a hammer?” Crown Kevin Gowdey quietly asked.

“Me,” said McClintic.

“Which part of the hammer was she struck with?”

“Both sides.”

I'm just horrified and sick over everything that was said today. I just read through all the tweets again and I'm not so sure Tori was even alive when TLM hit her with the hammer. I see tweets that say she was laying motionless on the ground but then I see another tweet that says Tori yelled for help. Given the past reports that MR had tried to strangle girlfriends when they were having sex I am not so sure about all this, but that MOO. Chances are we will never know what really happened. I hope to god neither one of them ever gets out of prison.

I was thinking today that there is nothing we can do for Tori and nothing to make her family feel better. But we CAN do our best to force the government to change the laws about this. I encourage all of you to start phoning and writing your MP's and MPP's to let them know how you feel about this. It would take a lot of calls and letters but it really might help.

Changing laws

Government legal experts are constantly examining our laws, looking for ways to improve them. Law reform committees review laws and recommend changes. Lawyers bring questions of law to court to bring about change. Social action groups seek changes to laws that they consider unfair to members of Canadian society. Legislators at the federal, provincial and territorial governments respond by introducing new laws or amendments to old ones to be considered and debated in Parliament and the legislatures.

Ultimately, though, the responsibility for changing our laws is not left entirely to the lawyers, the experts or the interest groups. It is the people of Canada who elect the lawmakers; we need to decide what we want from the law and then make sure it reflects those wishes. Everyone has the right to point out flaws in the law and to work towards changing these laws – lawfully, of course.

Tori, I'm so sorry these monsters hurt you so badly. I'm so sorry you died alone, in pain, and terrified. I'm so sorry that you thought T. was going to help and protect you and that she betrayed you over and over.

Video of Rafferty at the beginning of the video at the link, smiling.

McClintic said she came back to the car and found Rafferty outside and Stafford laying motionless on the ground. She covered Victoria's head with garbage bags.

She said she hit Victoria repeatedly with a claw hammer that she'd bought that afternoon in Guelph. She said the girl wasn't moving, but was making noises

Why was she motionless? What happened before she was placed on the ground? He participated in her death as much as she did, even with the blows of the hammer. I think she was unconscious on the ground and he did something to her to make it that way. JMO

I wonder what he has to smirk about, does he think he's a star now?

Folks:
I sincerely want to thank you for all of your work, past and present.
Now if you will excuse me, I don't think I want to know any more than I can see on the news.

There are simply no words and I simply have no stomach

God bless family and friends may justice prevail

RIP Tori

Unemployable young adult female with the virtual absence of positive role models throughout formative years, who aspires to the criminal lifestyle and has a well established violent criminal past becomes enraged by the perceived disrespect against her through a drug rippoff and thwarted dog breeding opportunity, becomes a self confessed drug addict, drug dealer, kidnapper and murderess. Is it much of leap to believe she’s also a liar?

She got a pretty good description of the location with specific details i.e silo, house on an angle, likely when she was checking the lane making sure there weren't any cars coming and wiping the tire tracks when MR pulled out of the lane, etc. Her location fits that area and I'm sure the jury will see that when they visit the spot in Mt. Forest. JMO

What would MR be attacted to in her then? He wrote that he was her boyfriend in the Genest sign in guest book. JMO

of course she did - after all, she was there. Not my opinion - her statement.

Allegedly - not evidence.

I don't know how she could have walked, never mind run after she was so brutally raped.

From TLM's comment about the 'bum' it sounds like she may have been sodomized first, then raped. (Forgive me) She may have been un-conscious or semi-conscious. Also, I'm not an expert, maybe someone knows, but TLM said that after she hit TS with the hammer, TS gurgled, others tell me that this generally means the 'death rattle'
