I just can't believe that a child who was being abducted, in a car, by two complete strangers, after being taught about stranger danger in school, would so willingly just keep quiet and co-operate even if being yelled at. Especially when the car was stopped at that Tim Hortons. <modsnip>.

Why did she not realize the danger she was in? Where did she think they were taking her?

I saw a special on 60 minutes (or another news show like that) once (sorry I cannot remember the name of it... and basically they had undercover people try to lure all kinds of kids of all kinds of ages and like 98% of them went with the stranger)

But I think there's some stuff being left out about what was being said to her after she was in the car. Threats? Promises to be taken home? It just seems like TLM is minimizing her part.

If he was in the middle of a kidnapping, and he KNEW he was in the middle of a kidnapping, then WHY would he agree to stop and pick up a "prescription" for her?? I'm sorry but to me, this doesn't make sense!! One would think that if he knew they had just grabbed a kid, and if he was listening for reports of missing kids on the radio then he would be panicked and he wouldn't agree to go get her a prescription! It just makes no sense! TLM says he screamed at her to "Get the F* in the car", he removed BB battery as they drove away, he listened for missing kid reports -- so why on earth would he stop to pick up a prescription for her??
IF he did, then why did he agree to this? Stopping to pick up a prescription doesn't sound to me like someone who was afraid of getting caught, KWIM? She might well be telling the truth. He could well be guilty in all of this -- but in my view:

-> either TLM is lying about how the kidnapping went down and what MR knew or didn't know at the time and is lying about things he said (get the f* in!) etc.
-> OR she is lying about picking up a script. Both cannot be true in my view IF he knew he was in the middle of a kidnapping.

The post is JMO -- and I'm listening intently. I'm really curious to see how the Defence will navigate through this point and to find out if the story was entirely true that TLM just gave, or party true, or not at all true

With that said, I'm not 100% sure we'll ever know what really went down that evening.

ITA. TLM is making herself out to be just another victim. When she waited for Tori she could have kept on walking. I haven't gotten the impression she feared MR. I can maybe see why she didn't call the police as she knew she had a warrant out for her but she had the option to walk away before that day happened.
MR had discussed kidnapping somebody before. TLM was a more than willing participant.

I get the feeling that she didnt fear him but she did feel to make him happy she would do what he said to do. I think there was that bad boy thing about him that she liked and thats why she was trying to please him. The fact that she could have let her go stands out to me and why she didnt. She is making herself sound like the good one, but I do feel that more information will come out.

Will MR take the stand?
