Derstine is picking out passages that reference things done in the Stafford case: use of a hammer, kicking someone, cleaning a crim scene

I wonder if the prosecution will come back with the lyrics to some Necro songs so the jury can see where her "inspiration" for her writings was likely coming from.

Derstine asks McClintic about the violent imagery, saying that she testified that she beat Tori to death with a hammer. "That’s a little bit more than anger issues, wouldn’t you agree?" he asks.

"There were many things at play that day and I’m not going to make excuses for what happened I would never try to make excuses for what happened," she says.

Does anyone know if she's in segregation in prison now?

McClintic said her angry, violent image kept her safe for years, never wanted to feel vulnerable

McClintic, in another letter to an inmate friend, wrote about raping an inmate's sister. Dragging his family members bodies around.

McClintic taking longer pauses before answering Derstine's questions.

McClintic asked about her Facebook profile. Derstine explains Facebook to the jury.

Her profile picture was a shot of McClintic wearing crips gang colours. Derstine says that was posted after her transformation in prison.

McClintic says she was never a member, only wore the colours "out of respect" for those she cared about in the gang.

Derstine points out McClintic's Facebook profile where she appears dressed as a Crips street hood

Derstine asks if somebody wearing those colours would be considered a gang member. She says yes.

McClintic says the photo is misunderstood. She was no longer a violent person. But, wore blue bandana when she stabbed a person.

Derstine suggest McClintic's Facebook pic was intended to intimidate and portray herself as a gang member

Showing images from McClintic's Facebook profile. Used applications like "what drug are you," "how ghetto are you" and "how will you die."

If I am not mistaken, she is in the Kitchener prison ... just off the 401. They have a couple of different setups there - it is known for its cozy cottages that some of the less-violent prisoners can graduate into - that is the minimum security part. And then there is the medium level, with a bit more freedoms - and the high security part where the most dangerous are housed. From reading about a recent case where a young inmate took her own life in her cell, it appears that life there can be tough - isolation cells, straight-jackets, the whole nine yards. A friend of mine who worked at Millhaven for years (when there was the women's section) said that it was the worst place to be stationed, and almost quit when he was assigned there ... luckily he had a heart attack first, and was put on light duty on the men's side for the duration of his work there.

I would think that they are keeping her in London though during the time that she is testifying. Hope they are watching her every moment - we don't want a jail break.

Derstine presents a photo of McClintic wearing a blue bandana which was on her Facebook page on April 8, 2009. Derstine says by putting up such a photo she was still presenting a violent, tough image.
