Helicopter searches assisted police in looking for Tori. McClintic went to the air to search at 5:52 on May 21st.

McClintic continued to cooperate. Smyth asked if her memory was accurate, but she insisted spots marked possible were not the right location

They arrived in Woodstock at 9:44 pm that day. Too dark to continue searching.

FavoritedFavorite · Close Open Details In the days that followed, Smyth took McC up in a helicopter to help look for #ToriStafford's body #Rafferty

Correction: McClintic's first helicopter ride was May 20th.

There were times where we thought we were close," Smyth tells the court

I wish they would state the dates and times these interviews took place, JMO

For real impact, it's too bad they couldn't schedule that visit for April 8th, the 3rd anniversary of her death. Ironically, however, April 8th this year is Easter Sunday so that is unlikely.

MOO

I wonder, if it had not been Easter Sunday (lets say it had just been an ordinary Monday), whether the judge would have allowed a visit to the murder site to take place on the anniversary of the crime? If I were the defense, I would have made a motion against a visit on the anniversary over concerns that it could bias / taint the jury against my client.

McClintic made more drawings, and wrote an apology to Tara McDonald that day.

Smyth interviews McClintic again on May 24, 2009 for six hours

Crown asked Smyth how McClintic was treated when she was in custody at police HQ

That day, she continued to provide more drawings of crime scene to police and wrote apology to #ToriStafford's mother, Tara McDonald

RaffertyLFP: Smyth said McClintic was woken up once for an interview but Police never screamed at her of spit on her

Note: Smyth used the tactic of letter writing to the victims and their mothers with his interrogation of Russell Williams.
