The 12-person jury was shown a series of graphic crime scene photographs Friday.
Ontario Superior Court Justice Thomas Heeney reminded jurors that they were welcome to ask for a break if they needed it.
“I simply ask you to do your best, to establish an attitude, a sort of clinical detachment, an analytic view of things,” he said in his address.
“Step back. You might find it easier to cope. I know it’s easier said than done but I simply ask you to do your best.”

Is the tweet referring to Derstine's suggestion?
I hope the forensic anthropologist and ME were able to discern which injuries were pre and post mortem. TLM stated they threw the rocks on top of her. JMO
I work in a warehouse and I am female. I consider myself fairly strong. We have wire reels that are around 109lbs and I can lift them but not high enough to put on top of something. That rock they both lifted or MR did it himself since he was a man and worked out often. JMO
Thank-you, Det.-Sgt. Smyth.
