The OPP was contacted on April 15 to help with the investigation. Hess says the number of officers on the case increased dramatically. "It just exponentially ramped up. Hess, who had been the case manager for the investigation, was replaced by Det. Insp. William Renton from the OPP.

So since Tara didn't stay, I wonder if this means she will be called back to testify again at some point during the trial and therefore can't be in the courtroom yet to hear testimony.

Gowdey says they have one witness left in the first part of their case. He tells the jury McClintic will be called Tuesday.
