Was Derstine really sick yesterday or did this witness make him sick yesterday?:moo: Maybe she/he was suppose to leave today? Makes me wonder for sure.

Possibly Swedie. But I have a feeling that Derstine was stalling by not showing up yesterday.

Only the front dash? I wonder if he gave an explanation for that? When and why did he paint the rest of the car? And how come the scientists have not told us if it was "whitewash" or plain old paint?

RaffertyLFP: McLean is asked about the forensic examination on the T-shirt worn by Tori on the day she was murdered

There were other items the centre tested, including Tori's shirt.

Blood and semen were both not detected on the shirt Tori was wearing when she died.

Correction: Semen not detected. Blood was.

McLean said the condition of the shirt left in the open for months made examination difficult - random search looking for semen was negative

Blood was found in the neck and hood areas, as well as the right side of the shirt. Not submitted for DNA evidence.

The presence of decompositional fluid impacted the DNA, rendering testing irrelevant.

Tests were done on Tori's body searching for body fluids or DNA. No semen or sperm was found.

But, McLean says they couldn't expect to find any, due to decomposition.

For example, McLean says they couldn't even provide a reasonable DNA match for Tori, even though they knew it was her body.

Court is wrapping up for the day. McLean's testimony will continue on Thursday

Ok that was super quick testimony from the ex, I wonder why questions about his behavior or character were not asked, seems odd to me. I guess she was just there to testify that the car seat was in fact in the car prior to the crime.

Seriously in touch with his female side, probably why the women like him, little did they know he was a devil in disguise. I'm wondering if the blood on the car door handle had a mix of sperm as well because than the jury could definitely conclude he raped her. Derstines next move is he had sex with TLM and various people in his car thats why there's sperm. IMO I do not believe it's possible to strick a hammer in a back seat of a car but that's just me.
