I don't think MR was sterile or had problems "that way" , his "yech" was found on the front passenger seat, with a 1 in 250 billion chance it was not his. HTH

Respectfully Dar, from what we have read and heard, he was not impotent. I believe sterile means he shoots blanks. Sorry for graphic.

I think he didn't want his car to be seen all over the place (with different women) even though I think it still was. I don't know why he would need to drive though. JMO

Moore saw Rafferty on May 7th, 2009. Car had been painted since she saw it. Dash white washed. Carpet from trunk and back seat was missing.

Just wondering why someone might need to remove the carpeting from the trunk of their car? And where in the car would one put a couple of garbage bags full of crime scene evidence when hauling them away for disposal? :waitasec:

I'd also like to know whether TLM was referring to rear seat car mats that she supposedly shampooed at that car wash. And where are they if she was referring to rear seat mats?

Rafferty did his odd little white paint job on (possibly) the entire inside of the car, (possibly) prior to the abduction.

HE ONLY SANDED THE WHITE PAINT off the REAR PASSENGER DOOR.

Look at the pic, you can see it, only on the rear passenger door.

I wonder where MR did all this painting inside and outside of his car? If it was at his mother's in the driveway the neighbours must have really been scratching their heads at the shoddy job. More like :floorlaugh:. Wouldn't you think there would be paint all over the driveway? Wonder if someone will testify about this creative paint job? :waitasec::moo:

Was just trying to point out that he could have seen the pic of Tori, gathered info from Tara's profile page.
Think he also hung out at Good Time Charlies as well.
Rather then trying to date Tara just waited for an opportunity to grab Tori, maybe carry out a fantasy or two.
Jmo I know he never dated Tara.....

I still believe TLM's statement Tori was too old. Didn't stop him though. :moo:

Maybe she requested to have her name withheld and the others didn't? Maybe she knew if she asked, they would accommodate her in order to get her testimony. Maybe if the others knew that they could have asked, they would have, kwim? I'm sure they would have liked to keep their names out of the media and this trial. And maybe the Crown didn't automatically offer because it means extra paperwork, time and money? I'm guessing here - I really have no idea. But one article did seem to indicate that she asked to have her name withheld.

IIRC, there was a publication ban on a witness name in the Pickton trial, and it was (is?) the judge's order, not up to the Crown. The judge actually issued reasons for the decision, and safety was the primary reason (if there were other reasons, i don't recall). I got the distinct impression that it is the judge's decision alone, so presumably there is a good reason for the ban in this particular case.

Yes, would be interesting to know where his car was parked at those times (i.e. in his mom's driveway, or in back alleys, malls, etc. where it wouldn't stand out).

Without knowing all the details regarding the publication ban on MTR's 37 year old GF #1 (post-murder), and her "helping profession", I fail to see why she should be afforded anonymity, and not all those other poor women.

Why is their privacy deemed less worthy?

All of them should have had their identity protected.

Not too long ago another Sleuther here reminded all of us there was a time before DNA. I think it may be appropriate to remind everyone once again of this. There comes a time when good old common sense comes into play. In the good old days before DNA I believe all the witnesses so far in this case would have proven the Crown's case.

Did anyone watch Connect with Mark Kelly tonight? They had an expert on speaking about the CSI effect.... This ties in exactly with what Kamille was saying about solving a crime the good old fashioned way.

Yea.........I believe she said somewhere that she didn't know exactly when she decided to "implicate" him.

She would receive a subpoena to testify. It wouldn't be her choice, so the Crown and defense probably agreed to a publicity ban due to her job.

-TL McClintic - 21, GF helped MR abduct Tori for alleged sexual/nefarious purposes.

-A. Lane - met MR in grade six and reconnect in 2009 through FB

Miss WS - GF at the time of his arrest. Dated for five to six weeks.

-J. Wood - woman known to MR. She was in her Honda in GLF parking lot day of his arrest. Her car also seized by LE.

-Amanda - MR admitted to LE during taped interview May 15/09, he dated her a few times. MR claimed Amanda was a friend of TM and her daughter a friend to Tori.

-Kate - MR spoke about Kate (not real name), would not tell LE her real name.

-B. Armstrong - ex lover, met at BBeef/work, had girly talks with MR, supplied oxy drugs numerous times to MR including the day Tori was murdered.

-Miss Unknown (Pub ban) - 37, MR met her on POF April 12/09, MR told her about TLM in detention centre being questioned about Tori's abduction.

-S. Hodge - 31, C&Y worker MR met on POF April 14/09, saw each other every day for two and a half weeks. Said he was a dance instructor. She mostly drove them around, MR on phone setting up dance appointments. MR told her he took oxy, he thought he had colon cancer. MR spoke to her about people abducting children raising them as their own. Obsessed with Tori's case listening to news and reading newspaper.

-T. Moore aka Tam Tam, met MR on Yahoo 2003. MR bought car in 2007 from used car lot in TO. Noticed May 9/09 back seat and rear carpet missing from MR's car.

-M. LaBute, MR met her at her workplace Staples March 09, saying he was new in town. She told MR she wasn't interested, described MR as nervous and needy. Spent a lot of time on phone keeping track of his workers claiming to own contracting business.

Eleven women who had contact with MR around the time of Tori's death. Wonder where the men are? No male friends? :waitasec: MOO
