He didn't appear to have any guy friends. Well, not that we know of. Nor does it look like he participated in group outings.... ie: girl friends with other couples etc. He... was 'the man'. (NOT)

The only people that I know like this are 1) struggling with their sexual orientation or 2) seriously emotionally dependent on others approval

When I first heard the comment from the Judge...I thought it was funny (not having icon's is not easy during such a trial)

But I realized later that night just how un-funny it was

This has been a horrific trial. The judges words were wrong then

And today's words from this Judge to this hard working Jury are equally bizzare...I think Judge Heeney took Snoofer's rocker...cause he's right off his rocker to even suggest Rafferty's character is not evidence jmo

They may not consider character flaws as a reason to convict Rafferty.

Heeney is telling the jury they may NOT consider Rafferty being "philandering cad" as part of the evidence.

It makes no sense. In the CA case they were able to show Casey's character. The "bella vita", the partying, the lying....that was the case!!!

maybe because it was a different country, different judge. ( we should be so lucky that each judge sees things differently).....it obviously didn't deter the jury from finding her "not guilty" though...IMO I see no relation to his pimping..drug dealing..recruiting...dancing etc. etc. to the murder of TS...will agree I was gobsmacked with the info this morning more so for those poor children having a Mother in the "trades" so to speak....JMO

People here were wondering why the Crown never asked any of the POF witnesses why they broke off with Rafferty. Maybe if that question was brought up the Defence would have jumped right in there and put an end to any more questioning like that. What if after Rafferty was done with each POF woman, he proposed that she for him and that's why she broke it off? JMO

For all we know TLM and MR have a VERY dirty secret among them that neither will admit or "rat" who knows, maybe both of them would prefer to be protected in prison since they were going to go there anyway. This pimp testimony is probably making the defense shake in their shorts because if I was on this jury, the only thing crossing my mind at this time would be did he abduct her to sell her.

Anyone can "escort" someone for money. They can't solicit sex for money, but they can accept "gifts".
