Just jumping on . . . I don't know much about this case. I just heard Eliz had $700 - $800 on her at the homeless hostle. Defense wants the detective to keep acknowledging the items she purchased were "cute" . . . . what is the purpose of that? Nasty looking knife in a sheath but was it part of EJ's shopping spree? Wonder how much was spent on those items. Very curious as to how she obtained that significant amount of money for her travels.

She had the knife with her prior to leaving for Miami. The babysitter in San Antonio said she saw it on the nightstand in the SA hotel room.

Defense wants the jury to know that Eliz. bought "cute" clothes for herself, and nothing for the baby.....maybe?

She bought those things at TJMax, I believe the detective said she had a TJMax bag, so I don't think she spend very much.

700 -800$ is not very much money, that will not last very long.

The detective never said Eliz, bought the knife or if it was already in the hostel.

I think the defense wants the attention on Eliz. and not on Tammie.

We know that EJ had a State Aid check for $400 and change that she cashed before leaving AZ. Plus she sold her dogs and various belongings on Craigslist. And she also rented out a room in the AZ trailer before she left, but I hadn't heard how much money she received from him (security deposit plus a month's rent, at least, I would suspect).

It appears she didn't get anything from the grandfather except for his car, which she said she was borrowing for a job interview.

Before she let AZ she sold her dogs and took in a roommate.

Reports are Johnson posted multiple listings on craigslist trying to raise money, allegedly sold her dogs, took on a roommate who paid Johnson rent.
