Why are they allowed to play a interview with EJ in this case regarding TS? I would think there would hearsay issues and relevance issues? I get that they are showing EJ is explaining how TS was involved but shouldnt it be EJ on the stand and not a recorded interview that the defense cant cross examine?
(I am NOT for the defense just curious as to the court procedure)

EJ said she gave her baby to strangers and then went to Target. . . apparently Target is the place to go shopping after you give your child away/disappear your child/kill the child and dump him, etc. (sorry so vulgar!)

I thought the same thing. No wonder the attorney wanted a break after EJ said this (eek). And does this Defense attorney think the louder he talks the more convincing he'll be?

I agree -- not sure why the tapes are being played. It doesn't negate the fact that TS was chin deep in custodial interference. And now EJ is trying to describe the park...er...it was a medium to large park...with trees....

What does the DT thinks this will get them? EJ is not on trial (she will be and she is a @$%%, but that's another story), their client is --- and the tapes indeed do not exonerate her.

chopstick holder? what are those things called advertised on tv (kinda like a dickey for cleavage coverage) to hook to your bra straps? Maybe her Atty's could invest a few bucks for some modesty for court room appropriate attire?

She has been experimenting with her wardrobe the entire trial. So far, it all sucked. Would she be my client; this would have happened:

1. LIGHTEN that damn hair
2. Possibly dress in slacks and sweaters
3. Do not wear religious icons while wearing stripper cleavage.
