Derstine now challenging McClintic's version of events. Questions why she would kidnap a girl for a guy who didn't mean much to her

She called him T'z man on her cell phone Derstine!!MOO

RaffertyLFP: Derstine said McClintic's story was absurd - Rafferty meant little to her Why did she do it?

Derstine says McClintic was "much, much more deeply" involved in the events.

Did he not watch the videos from the movie theatre and detention centre? She was head over heels for him

He shouldn't have used that sentence. It is clear in the videos she was "head over heels" for him IMO too.

12:23 RaffertyLFP: Derstine said Rafferty was doing casual things like going to Tim Horton and picking up Percosets while Tori in car

RaffertyLFP: "Is that the actions of someone who has kidnapped little girl in the car?" asks Derstine

And I'm sure Tori was going along with the 'TLM the babysitter' ruse the whole time she was in Home Depot. (insert sarcastic smiley here)

Yeah, now Derstine's credibility is in question. IMO.

RaffertyLFP: Derstine said McClintic has 2nd opportunity to escape when they stopped at Barb Armstrong's in Guelph

He says her story is unreliable. She wasn't a horrified spectator. She could have stopped the events, if she is telling the truth.

McClintic got a tea at Tim Horton's in Guelph. She could have stopped the events there. He notes Tim Horton's is busy at 4 pm.

As could have MR!!

So funny... MTR just as many chances to run away with Tori as TLM had... JMO

Tim Hortons, percosets, Derstine forgot Home Depot. Not so casual JMO

During April 8th, the Rafferty seemed to drive around aimlessly. Why would he go to a busy Tim Horton's? Or chat with a drug dealer?

If Rafferty had a kidnapped child, why would he go to such public places. Rafferty left Tori and McClintic alone multiple times.

Well, wouldn't Mr. Dirk Derstine make a great Crown Attorney if it was Mclintic on trial for murder. She already admitted her part in this and serving the max. How about hearing exactly why he thinks his client is NOT guilty??!!! Got anything???

Derstine doesn't have anything, and he knows it. That is why he is trying to rely strictly on the holes in the Crown's theory.

If he tried to really defend his client as a duped guy who was "horrified". He would get crushed. What "horrified" guy would stand by while a little girl is killed and help cover up the murder, and then go visit the murderer at the detention centre? ....very WEAK!

Dear Crown,

Please address the "you would do anything for a bit of love wouldn't you?" testimony.

Sincerely,
KMouse

McClintic was the "engine", Derstine says. She could have stopped the kidnapping at Home Depot, if she wanted too. Bought a hammer instead.

RaffertyLFP: Derstine said McClintic willingly bought murder tools at Home Deot could have got help

I'm confused... why is he making the argument that TLM is guilty? We all know that... she confessed... why rehash that? Of course, she could have stopped it... she didn't... but neither did MR, and that what is important in these proceedings.

TLM is not on trial here.

Derstine: “Are those the actions of someone who believes there’s a kidnapped little girl in the car?”

Derstine questions why #Rafferty would go to public places/suburbs, if he was in on McClintic's plan

Casual things???

Honestly, Derstine is going down hill in a fast way. He should've wrapped it up 30 mins ago...

Derstine is arguing that McClintic didn't kidnap #ToriStafford at random, but chose her deliberately
