The suspect in the murder of a married couple in northern Arizona is dead after police said he led Missouri law enforcement on a chase, shot a trooper, and was shot and killed on Tuesday.

The Snowflake-Taylor Police Department announced on Wednesday that the suspect in the shooting deaths of 62-year-old Troy Templeton and 53-year-old Cynthia Templeton in Taylor was Cynthia’s son, 23-year-old Francis Alcantar-Chavez.
