I love Nancy. Yes, she's rude but I still love her. If the people don't want to go on her show, nobody is forcing them.

I like her. I think her guests are warned about her before they come on. Watching her with TMiller, one night she was a little fiesty with him, but the next night she was totally gentle. Once he said he would stay and search. The defense attorneys that appear know they are going to "hammered" and I think they enjoy it actually. If you watch them closely you can see them smirking and trying really hard not to laugh. Some of them just come out and laugh, like the Joey Jackson guy.

And sometimes when she is being rude, she is actually agreeing with the speaker but he has hit a particular nerve with her and she just can't stay quiet. She could be a little gentler with the forensic guy, but I think they have a long-standing relationship. All of the guests could say no if they did not like how Nancy interacts.

I thought she did well with Nate, even though she interrupted him several times. She was trying to clarify or just bring out an element of what he was saying. How many times did she interrupt him when he was saying Casey was playing games and cooking dinner and acting like a normal person? I think Nate was taken aback a time or two, but he recovered quickly and she let him speak without interrupt when he talked about Caylee.

I tend to like this argumentive style of conversation.

Now, if it was not a case I was following, I'm not sure I would watch her all the time.

I love Nancy, too! She lets her guests get just enough out to show that there are other arguments and what those arguments are, which she really doesn't have to do. She's great on follow-up questions. Much better than Greta. Also, she doesn't pander to the defense side if they show her attention or flattery the way Greta and Geraldo do.
I can see how her dramatic posturing could get on people's nerves, though. I find it highly entertaining.

Nancy Grace is effective, she is not a favorite, but I've been watching her (and those iridescent shirts) since July. I think she provides good coverage of the case, but her dramatic grandstanding is a little hard to digest at times.

You mean like when Nancy interrupted Nate to find out what foods Casey was specifically cooking? And went on and on over this point like a child? Because it would've mattered whether Casey was cooking a Lasagna instead of, say, cheeseburgers? Or cheeseburgers instead of a Lasagna? Because, I suppose, a person who cooks Lasagna would tend to be a baby-killer ... more so than a person who cooks cheeseburgers?

I think Nancy's the worst on follow-ups. She can't improvise at all. Her opeining questions aren't so hot either. Inarticulate and usually so poorly phrased that all she seems to do is elicit confusion from her panelists.

By the way, many of what would appear to be Nancy's follow-up questions aren't follow-up questions at all. She's often rephrasing her first question after realizing how poorly phrased her question was the first time around. Other times, she is asking a second question, not so much as a follow-up, but because she is not drawing the predetermined answer that she intended to get. So you have to watch out for this stuff.

She's dreadful on follow-ups.

I would imagine that Nancy's guests are very comfortable appearing on her show no matter how rudely they are treated. The guests receive a tremendous amount of publicity for appearing on her show. The TV appearances tend to suggest to the public that the panelists must be highly competent in their fields in order to have been invited on the NG show. It's great for business.

Most of those panelists would never turn down an invitation to appear on the NG show, no matter what.

Nobody makes BO look polite, even NG. I don't usually watch her show, but I am watching it now because she at least covers Caylee's case. The worst shows have been the ones allowing Cindy to call in and talk endlessly, blaming everyone but Casey. She didn't really engage with her, but just let her rip.

I cannot stand the amount of commercials! Its ridiculous.

I do respect the fact that not only does she keep cases in the spotlight longer than anyone else but she always shows the number of Americans who have fought for our country & sadly, lost their lives. She also does a segment where she honors & pays homage to one in particular. That is beautiful to me & I always say thank you & a little prayer to those soldiers & their families.

For what I don't like about her personality, she makes up for it with awesome things in my book.

I completely agree. She doesn't let anybody answer. She stops answers if they don't agree with her and she takes up for the grandparents washing the clothes and such. She really gets on my nerves. I really wish she would've broke Cindy down like she did Duckett

She was a tough woman prosecutor. Strong, no holds barred TV personality. Are men intimated by this type of woman, Maybe?

I agree it's sometimes frustrating for someone who has read, listened and watched to every detail of this case since day one. It might be because the callers that actually get on, ask questions that we knew the answer to a month ago!! I have tried to get through numerous times with no luck. I do however appreciate the fact that Nancy is still covering this case every night. I do not live anywhere near FL so WS and NG is how I get the latest, although I have to admit after reading WS Nancy's show is usually old news!
