Tuesday with Nancy Grace 09.09.08 8PM

Nancy Grace is effective, she is not a favorite, but I've been watching her (and those iridescent shirts) since July. I think she provides good coverage of the case, but her dramatic grandstanding is a little hard to digest at times.

Just had to send out an LOL on that one.:) I noticed she has a black one now too!

I wish she would've been a little meaner to Cindy thats all

I think we were all screaming at the TV, wanting NG to say it like it is......BUT you do catch more fly's with honey and that night Cindy (moo) did have a harder time reacting to NG's compassion when I think she was expecting more vinegar.

ETA: I have come to love her shiny shirts......her trademark! Never did get my old bridesmaid dress out, but did wear a long, shiny, satin-y, multi-colored scarf around my neck and have decided it is now my mandatory wardrobe for NG viewing.

Will Nejame be on Grace tonight? I wouldn't doubt it

She was a prosecutor, is a lawyer, but is not a very good journalist, imo. Her heart is in the right place but she's get so much more content if she'd actually listen to her guests.

And my god her callers always ask the stupidest questions ever!

Only after the gushing and fawning.
My son (12) does a great NG imitation. He lowers eyelashes and says "Thank-you" so softly. It's a hoot.

I don't like Nancy Grace. In Caylee's case, I think it has been detrimental to have all this coverage because KC and the rest of the Anthonys are lapping up their 15 minutes of fame like dogs who have gone too long without water. IMO, the media's obsession is feeding into the frenzy and giving them what they want- exposure, which in Casey's situation, is more power to keep the lies going.

Now she will not have to work ever again. She can just relax.
Not like she was working to begin with ....now she will never have to LIE about working again.......

She was a tough woman prosecutor. Strong, no holds barred TV personality. Are men intimated by this type of woman, Maybe?

There should be a poll with this thread. :)

Yep. She scares me to death but I like her!

Oh gosh, my hubby cannot stand to watch her or hear her voice!

She is still a necessary program though, just look past the bombshell Exaggeration and her sharp tongue and appreciate that she is focused on this case, or any other case and definitely puts herself into the thick of it.

It's hard for me to actually watch the show, because Nancy doesnt let people talk much, or answer a question that SHE has posed--so I wait and read the transcripts---and the nightly thread here on WS, so I know what's going on...
Nancy can be grating and irritating, but I will say I admire her for being a victims rights advocate, and if I ever go missing, or one of my family members were to be missing, I would hope and pray that it got Nancy's attention, she is like a dog with a bone, and she doesnt give up.....
So fellow sleuthers, if I ever turn up missing, please contact Nancy, lol....

What drives me crazy is the amount of commercials. Also, the (so called) breaking news that is days old. AND the repeat of everything! Half of her show is her repeating what she has already said. With that being said, I like NG for the most part. Sometimes she makes me want to scream though. lol My husband can't stand her or her voice. I always watch in another room.

She dresses like a cartoon character

LOL! Now that's funny right there, I don't care who you are...

I love Nancy, I watch her all the time. I used to love Kobe too, but as soon as he had mentioned that JB had contacted him about the forensic evidence, he seems to talk in circles. Drives me Batty

Jane Mitchell I won't watch... no matter if she is filling in for NG or giving her opinion on some other CNN show.

You mean like when Nancy interrupted Nate to find out what foods Casey was specifically cooking? And went on and on over this point like a child? Because it would've mattered whether Casey was cooking a Lasagna instead of, say, cheeseburgers? Or cheeseburgers instead of a Lasagna? Because, I suppose, a person who cooks Lasagna would tend to be a baby-killer ... more so than a person who cooks cheeseburgers?

Real important interruptions.

Actually, I think Nancy was trying to emphasis the "normalacy" of Casey's behavior. Her child is missing and she is in the kitchen cooking for the "guys." What's up with that? Why is she cooking? Was she just throwing something together? or was she like cooking like little Susie Homemaker? being all domestic and whatnot, WHILE HER DAUGHTER IS MISSING! That's what I got out of those interruptions. Nancy even said she was just trying to get a mental picture of Casey's behavior.

I love to watch Nancy and her shiny wardrobe! I think she looks smashing most of the time. Love her hairdo except last night it was a bit Rene Rockwell! (sp) I agree she can get on my nerves sometimes with interupting her guests and showing days old info a lot of the time BUT I also think we here ast WS have a sort of inside track and we often know breaking news by the time she comes on! That is what my DVR is for FF through the Bombshells! The general public probably gets a lot of their info from Nancy, Greta etc...

I am a handmade jewelry artist and I get lost watching her bold jewelry. Heck I want to send her something of mine to wear on the show for exposure for me. I wonder if ya'll know how I could do that? o you think if I sent a package she would get it and wear it?

I love Nancy. Yes, she's rude but I still love her. :) If the people don't want to go on her show, nobody is forcing them.

Nancy is a TRIP! I have been watching her since Court TV and I think she's gotten more shrill as time goes on. I appreciate her no-nonsense, walkin' like she's talkin' attitude. The constant shout-outs regarding the twins grates jes a lil' :). But her show would be better if she let her guests finish their sentences though.

You have to admit she pretty much pummels everyone equally. The only person I've never seen her go off on was Dr. Perper (from Anna Nicole Smith). She must like him because she's always super sweet to him.

Yeah, she does that "Thank-you so softly thing" right after she's reamed one of her guests for even suggesting that Casey has rights. It's like she has two personalities. Would love to see SNL do another NG skit showing her screaming at someone and then being real demure…

How well put!
