A jury has found a man guilty of capital murder in the 2014 slaying of his daughter and her female lover.

The Galveston County jury returned the verdict Wednesday on James Larry Cosby in the beating and strangulation death of his daughter, Brittney Cosby, and the shooting death of Crystal Jackson. According to trial evidence, Cosby then dumped their bodies behind a convenience store on the Bolivar Peninsula.
