TX- 13 year old boy abducted while coming home from school, Houston

Not sure if VIBE is an accepted media source but I found something interesting in the comments of this
article. Poster initials TM, the rest of comments are just bad, sorry! It was posted around 5 days ago but no updates from the original reporter (abc13?). IMO very suspicious that nobody ever asked "what did the bus driver see?" If ViBE is unacceptable please mod alert. Thanks! 13-Yr Old Zavion Parker Escapes Abduction By White Supremacists
Some people have doubted his story, but in a recent update, police said the child’s mother and Carmouche led police to the shack described by the boy. Investigators discovered shell casings, a wooden chair and other weapons."

So has it been confirmed by any other sources that these items were found?

I never saw that update from LE. The only one reporting that AFAIK is the abc13 reporter via the mom. Not a peep from Houston PD and I don't think it was posted on their facebook either, not positive. I'd love it if someone could post a link about the police saying anything.

Same. The reporter seemed to take the moms word as gospel when talking about the case. I’d like to see where LE directly said those things. Otherwise it’s kind of just hearsay imo.

I honestly think that parts of the story are true. Just not as were reported. This kid was running with no shoes and a ripped shirt. It's possible he was at a shack. I don't think it was 5 Mexican gingers or 3 boys hanging or a tattoo of I hate black people. I think this might be bully, gang or retaliation related. I dont think it was a random, racial motivation. And no one has red hair or a flame truck lol

But it wouldn't really be unusual to find shell casings and weapons in homes, would it? And I have four wooden chairs in my kitchen.

This entire case seems to have been dropped like a hot potato.

He's got some 'splaining to do.

I wonder if his supporters can accept this?

I wonder if we will find out the reason for the lie.

Houston police say there is no evidence to support the claims made by a teenager that white supremacists abducted him, injured him and threatened him.
...
Investigators have met with both the child's mother and community activists. They told them their findings.
Mother declined comment. LE is not filing any charges. I hope this will be laid to rest and also that the adults will make sure to explain to the boy why what he did was not right.

I think LE should explain to the boy that what he did was not right.

I hope they will, too, but I’m not holding my breath. No mention anywhere of a father, but the mother (and this “Camecia” woman) were sure putting words in his mouth...in case his story wasn’t detailed enough.

They obviously saw a windfall coming, and played it for all it was worth...which turned out to be nothing.

No charges to be filed, either. This isn’t going to stop until there are consequences for hate crime hoaxes, and the profit motive removed.

I have a feeling the lady who found him was also hoaxed. She seemed truly concerned. I feel sorry for her.

I want to add that if nothing else, he needs to understand the harm that he could have brought to others by his statements. Someone could have been arrested and there was a group out for vigilante justice that could have hurt an innocent person. A house was shown and a truck with a license plate was all over..... it could have been exactly as his "story" described, but to innocent people being accused by him.
