It's been pretty quiet around here since it happened. I heard the FBI is involved and I imagine they are keeping things hush hush. I'm not really sure what can be done about something like this though. There are so many members all over the world. I just worry that there will be retaliation. Anyone in their vicinity is in danger of being hit.

No doubt that the FBI is involved and I'm sure they and local LE will do their best to put a stop to it before things get worse. Of course the two clubs could call a cease fire on their own - it does happen. I was just looking at a list of who the Bandidos are affiliated with and it's impressive. Of course they still tend to be enemies, but they will come together when need be (to fight an rival gang). I'm not at all sure who the Homietos are or how strong they are. It's a pretty big deal to take on any of the older and more powerful MCs though (but the Bandidos did kill their leader). Hopefully things will cool off soon one way or the other. They do tend to, but yeah, especially if you have a club that targets rivals on highways, it's dangerous for everyone. Stay safe!

So on the way to work this morning @ 5 am I saw some interesting signs. There were two of them next to the I-45 to I-10 interchange on the NW side of downtown Houston. I've posted a pic below of what kind of signs they were. Pretty sure they popped up overnight - since we would have heard if it'd been there yesterday.

The first one said "Fword THE HOMITOS". The second one said "TEXAS LOVES THE BANDITOS".

I'll just say this - for the next 6 months if I see a MC on the road I'm getting TF away from them. Pretty sure this rivalry is about to peak.

Did you send a photo to LE or let them know where the signs are? Would think they're aware, but doesn't hurt to let them know anyway. Street gangs do things like that too but more crossing out the name of the gang they're against. Still best to pay attention to your surroundings, and yes if they're riding on the road you're on, slow down and stay clear of them. Be safe!

"Unfortunately, with death comes funerals, and those are very high opportunity targets because rival motorcycle gangs know that it’s typically a mandatory attendance to those functions, so they lay in wait and know there’s a lot of opportunities to ambush people on the interstates," Cook said."
