Mother arrested after bedridden girl, 7, found dead during welfare check

A mother has been arrested after a 7-year-old bedridden girl was found dead inside her home when police were performing a welfare check.

The incident occurred at about 2:30 p.m. on Friday when Bay City Police Officers in Bay City, Texas, were doing a welfare check at a residence in the area and found a 7-year-old girl who was bedridden due to medical conditions dead inside the home.

Two other children -- a 5-year-old and a 3-month-old -- were also on the premises along with the mother, 26-year-old Lauren Kay Dean, who was arrested by authorities after they discovered her dead daughter. It was unclear how long the 7-year-old had been deceased for.

The mother was charged with three second degree felony charges: abandonment, endangering a child and imminent danger bodily injury.

She has a fb page. She was looking for a nurse, from 6am to 7pm, on weekdays, a month ago. It is possible that a nurse might have called in sick that day and she left the kids alone, for awhile, resulting in the abandonment charge?
All three home alone? With the youngest being 3 months old? Where the heck is the father (or father’s) of these children?
Maybe she had used all of her sick days and didn’t have FMLA set up to use?
:( Prayers

That's the problem with social media. It is so easy to portray what ever it is you want others to believe of you, truth or otherwise.
I was about to say um how many cases can you say the same thing? Just even in the last month
I dont care what her "reasons or bs excuses" happen to be. 7, 5 and 3. That's what should have mattered, not a job, party, boy or girl toy just no 🤬🤬🤬**** excuse.
I'm sure there's more to it yet at the end of the day she failed, horribly somewhere with that child, all of them.
Hopeful there's no bond. I dont even want to look at her case to find out. Just d*** all to h*** already.
Crying Lucky out
