My 2 cents...with little information given about the located vehicle I’m thinking foul play involved here.

Missing 8 days now.

Worst case scenario IMO. <modsnip> from south Dallas are notorious for driving up to wealthier central/north Dallas and robbing/carjacking. Victims like Leslie Baker, Don Morrow, Mary Boyd. This was my first thought when I heard about this case and the location it took place.
Hearing "south dallas" brings up those same thoughts for me. There are wealthy parts that are south of Dallas, but those are called something else by locals.

BBM. Were these victims taken to another location and left?
I didn't say they were. I stated they were victims of crimes committed by south Dallas <modsnip> looking for targets in wealthy neighborhoods. The Cityplace area is notorious for car break-ins, car theft, muggings etc.

The most direct route to south Dallas is highway 75 which is just around the corner from LA Fitness and leads you directly to that part of town taking just minutes at that time of the morning. Few cameras that route. Maybe some traffic cams?

What would be the reason that LE is not releasing where the car was found, how it was found, what was found in it, etc? I understand not to hamper the investigation.. but I'm assuming now probably foul play?

I'm curious if his bag was in there, his phone, wallet etc..

Was he carrying his bag in video? Did it look like he put a sweatshirt on? Are they sure that’s him?

this seems like a pretty busy gym parking lot! I hope they have found the people in the cars that were arriving while he left. someone even parked in the spot he was in during that short timeframe.

Not just typos. It reads like a bad translation from a foreign language. Very odd.
and.. it sounds like he may have written it himself.
Either that or the "my" in this sentence is a typo.
"and colleagues appreciate my ability to effectively develop a plan and drive it to conclusion.""

NEW video of KPMG Executive Alan White leaving LA Fitness on Haskell Avenue in #Dallas last Thursday morning.

Sounds like a couple detectives commenting as the video is playing. They think he might turn right from the gym parking lot onto Haskell but instead he goes straight across the parking lot. Couldn't make out them out exactly.

So it makes sense they were looking at the Kroger stores surveillance as his car was headed in that general direction. There is a Starbucks and bank ATM as well in said direction.

I wonder if someone was in the car when he left the gym.

I missed where it’s been said they were looking at Kroger surveillance?

I think they're purposely not saying where the vehicle was found for some reason. Several people have asked the reporter on Twitter and FB where it was found, and there was no response. Same on Alan's brother's FB page, and he's been on the page since the question was asked and made other comments, but blatantly ignored that one. That leads me to believe that perhaps the police have asked them not to say.

I agree...there must be a reason they re not sharing this information ... it must absolutely relate to Alan’s disappearance ... otherwise ...why not? Hopefully we’ll hear something soon. They must be processing it now...shouldn’t be long. Moo

If so, seems like the same video camera would have captured someone getting in to the car. Of course, they may be holding that back.

If he went straight across Haskell - He could shortcut through the parking lot between the Target and Office Supply place and be at that sketchy Exxon I referred to on the first page of this thread.... It's a road that's not a road.

There's also an actual street that runs alongside the DART hub/Cityplace Tower. There's cameras all over the outside of that building so I don't think he went that way.

He did not cross Haskell, at least not in this video, because he did not turn right out of the parking lot. He stayed in the parking lot continuing through it.

As far as the gas angle is concerned, I agree that is a factor as his sister stated he was going to get gas on his way home.
