WELCOME TO WEBSLEUTHS!
Hearing "south dallas" brings up those same thoughts for me. There are wealthy parts that are south of Dallas, but those are called something else by locals.Worst case scenario IMO. <modsnip> from south Dallas are notorious for driving up to wealthier central/north Dallas and robbing/carjacking. Victims like Leslie Baker, Don Morrow, Mary Boyd. This was my first thought when I heard about this case and the location it took place.
I didn't say they were. I stated they were victims of crimes committed by south Dallas <modsnip> looking for targets in wealthy neighborhoods. The Cityplace area is notorious for car break-ins, car theft, muggings etc.BBM. Were these victims taken to another location and left?

and.. it sounds like he may have written it himself. Not just typos. It reads like a bad translation from a foreign language. Very odd.

NEW video of KPMG Executive Alan White leaving LA Fitness on Haskell Avenue in #Dallas last Thursday morning.
I missed where it’s been said they were looking at Kroger surveillance?Sounds like a couple detectives commenting as the video is playing. They think he might turn right from the gym parking lot onto Haskell but instead he goes straight across the parking lot. Couldn't make out them out exactly.
So it makes sense they were looking at the Kroger stores surveillance as his car was headed in that general direction. There is a Starbucks and bank ATM as well in said direction.
I think they're purposely not saying where the vehicle was found for some reason. Several people have asked the reporter on Twitter and FB where it was found, and there was no response. Same on Alan's brother's FB page, and he's been on the page since the question was asked and made other comments, but blatantly ignored that one. That leads me to believe that perhaps the police have asked them not to say.
If so, seems like the same video camera would have captured someone getting in to the car. Of course, they may be holding that back.I wonder if someone was in the car when he left the gym.
If he went straight across Haskell - He could shortcut through the parking lot between the Target and Office Supply place and be at that sketchy Exxon I referred to on the first page of this thread....
