Anytime I see a responsible, intelligent, adult missing and they don't have a cell phone with them that can be tracked I start out thinking they may have left it wherever on-purpose.

He is an executive for KPMG- He didn't go to work without a cell phone.

I hope he is OK.
In this article that is in the quote attached it says the cell phone had apparently died. I quoted it below.

“So far, there’s no sign of his credit cards being used since his disappearance and his cell phone has apparently died”

Surveillance cameras recorded him leaving.

Wow, there are a lot of typos in that KPMG profile.

Most of Dallas is still working from home right now, so I don't think he was going into the office straight after his workout.

As for the dealer car, I know someone who works at a local Porsche dealership, he said they typically do not put / pay for GPS location services in the loaner cars. Insane that I live in the area and haven't heard about this until now!

Remember Thomas Kelsey on Long Island? Police knew almost right away where is phone pinged last and released it to the public. He was later found in the woods along the freeway exit having had an accident.

It looks like Alan's missing persons report was filed only a few hours later. LE has had some time to find this out now. You don't need a court order if there is a reasonable chance a person is in danger.

I don't know if this is true or not but many people who are issued Corporate cell phones also carry a personal phone as well. He may have two phones.

Not just typos. It reads like a bad translation from a foreign language. Very odd.

Yes, exactly. The text changes at one point from third person to first person ("he" throughout, then a random "my"). I wonder if he wrote it. It's very odd for a professional website.

From the KPMG website: KPMG is a global network of independent member firms offering audit, tax and advisory services.

Just a guess, but these kinds of businesses often outsource their websites to freelance companies or services some of which aren't english-speaking, and kpmg itself appears to be multinational(rather than a US brand agency with a fulltime copywriter), so the design and copy aren't as polished. I don't think it says much about Alan as a person since the profiles may have been made up/completed by the content admin based on each employees CV content or linked in profiles, etc.

The timeline here confuses me. Above it says he drove to LA Fitness around 530am. Another article says surveillance cameras show he LEFT LA Fitness at 538am.

What time do cameras show he arrived? Did he talk to anyone? Was anything different about this visit? Earlier? Later? Shorter? Was he on phone during visit?

I'm also wondering if he was working from home or expected in office?

MOO

New info to me: missing poster attached says no activity on bank accounts, phone or credit cards.

So the missing poster says he left for the gym from his house around 5:30AM and then seen leaving the gym around 6AM, that doesn’t leave a lot of time for a workout unless it’s a quick one and the gym is really, really close. It would still be quite dark at that time so I can’t imagine going for a run at a nearby park (okay I can’t imagine running dark or not but that’s just me) but I guess that’s a possibility. Treadmills were full when he arrived so he opted to leave right away and go for a run at the park, where something happened. Just tossing out an idea, IMOO and all that.

edited to change “at” to “around” like the poster says

The video in this article says he got to the gym at 5 and left at 5:38.

It's still not much time, though.

Good questions, and I find the timeline to be confusing as well, IMO. There appear to be some inconsistencies.

Here's a compilation of quotes from the articles re: gym:

A video camera captured Alan White leaving an LA Fitness on Haskell in Dallas at 5:38 a.m. [...] (source)

[...] He was last seen at LA Fitness on Haskell Ave. around 5 a.m. [...] (source)

According to family, Alan White drove from his North Central Dallas home to a fitness center in City Place around 5:30 a.m. last Thursday.

Surveillance cameras recorded him leaving.

UPDATE: [...] He was last seen around 6 a.m. on Oct. 22, driving out of the LA Fitness CityPlace parking lot on Haskell [...]

ORIGINAL POST: [...]

White and his husband, Rusty Jenkins, both left their home at around 4:45 a.m. Thursday, driving separate cars and going to separate gyms. White was last seen checking into the LA Fitness City Place, 2690 N. Haskell Ave., at about 5 a.m. A family friend said the manager at the gym allowed family to look at video footage from a security camera, and while there was no clear picture of White, it is believed he left the gym around 6 a.m.

I wonder if there's proof of Rusty Jenkins arriving at his gym?

Unfortunately I have a gut feeling that his disappearance is directly related to the Porsche Macan and an attempted or accomplished carjacking.
Not sure if Websleuths had a thread on the case of the Egg Harbor City, NJ disappearance of Quan Lindsay and his Dodge Hellcat from earlier this year but that's the same feeling to me. I was shocked to learn in Quan Lindsay's case his $80,000 car did not have any form of locator, GPS, OnStar or Dodge's version of the idea accessible either.

I agree, the timeline is weird on this one.

If he left his house at 4:45am then arriving at 5:00am makes sense. There should be a time stamp on his account.

Leaving at 5:30ish doesn't make a whole lot of sense, it might not be accurate and closer to 6:00am.

His missing person report was filed at 11:00am that same day? Does that seem a little fast for an adult?

Do we know who filed the missing person report?

Seems fast to me IMO
