Decomp WARNING***********************

It starts the minute oxygen stops. The aroma is within minutes. Add summer weather. Don't know if there was visible, but under tarp...............

We should wait for more reports and any ME release.

There would have been post mortem lividity as well. and flies.

sorry all. but I could see the combination of the above leading people to believe the body was decomposed. It does start immediately.

I would be shocked if these are related but I will state I followed Opal Jo's case very , very closely and I never believed him or his ' confession' . In my mind, her killer is on the loose still.

I've shared these thoughts also. Franks has the mental capacity of a 10 year old and was questioned, without an attorney, for hours. His confession was written for him, read back to him and he signed it. There was no forensic evidence to tie him to Opals abduction and murder.

You and 21merc7 make a very good point about the decomposition. I suppose for most people, that would be enough.

Anyone who can do this to an innocent little girl does not deserve to breath the same air or live on the same planet as other humans. I'd say alot more but I don't want to get banned, this just makes me want to puke.

I know some people who say there is a reason for everything, but I will never, never ever understand a reason for an innocent child to be hurt, killed, tortured.. Never!

There wasn't anything to tie him to Opal? I didn't know that. Was there any foreign dna found on her body? Everything I've read was written way after the fact and "cleaned up" kwim?

SweetT, ditto and amen!

This town of 20k has had two children abducted and (possibly) murdered by a predator? Um, that seems "off" to me. I live in a county of 800k people and I honestly can't think of a case like Jessica Ridgeway or Samantha Runnion where the child was snatched and then murdered right afterwards that has happened here.

The neighbor lady just now on nbcdfw.com 5 oclock show says that she came over to play with them and when it was time to go home she ' would sob' and she seemed like a ' sad little girl' and she wishes she could do more to help her. She also said the little girl lived at the home with her parents and another man she called ' papa' but she would not elaborate. ( neighbor says little girl would not elaborate on who papa was )

This is the reporter who did the story . As close as I can get to a link.

So, the child goes missing at 4 pm, and parents don't report her missing until 8 pm, 1/2 hour AFTER her body is found?

I don't like it.

Where did she supposed to have supper that night? ITA by the way.

I'm not liking this but I hope no one from the home is involved.

If you go on the scanner thread, you can see the girl's name and address. Look up the reverse address on whitepages.com, and you will see three people live in the home. Two have the same name as the girl, and another man has a different name. I am guessing that's "Papa". They all have FB pages too, but we can't discuss any of that at this time.

I am VERY concerned that the neighbor lady says she would SOB when it was time to go home. She said no matter how long she played, when it was time to go she did not want to. The lady is a big older and has twin grand daughters that the little girl would play with . She said she lived 4 houses down. I'm trying to find a live feed for that channel so you all can see it .

From what I can see they put things straight to video, so it should be up soon.

Can someone please provide a link to the "4pm" quote?

Me too. Especially the whole part about how she wishes she could do more to help her. Sobbing just doesn't seem normal, especially for it to happen all the time. I could see whining, sometimes, but sobbing?
