She's 36 now, he turns 18 in nov, so she was 18 when she had him?!?

All I know is that the article said she was still in High School when she had the baby and she and GG were living with her Mom after the parents divorce.

That article is posted several times (by me) in the last few pages.

the article with grandpa (her estranged father) said she had him in hs but did not give an age.

I didn't know this was a thing--I only know what I read about Richard Ramirez, that he had two serious head injuries. Interesting. I do tend to believe more in "broken" than I do in "evil".

That doesn't mean I think "broken" means society shouldn't be protected. I absolutely do. That's why I'm interested in anything that can help scientifically explain how these people get broken in the first place.

Because of a sibling with a traumatic brain injury and researching/studying/being involved in other groups that are working in this every growing population, my unscientific, but very real observation over the last 19 years, is that brain injuries don't turn someone into something they were not...they just can't always control the depth of themselves post injury.

He doesn't strike me as a head injured person, doesn't mean there isn't brain trauma of some kind, but I think we need to be very careful that we aren't creating an excuse (not that anyone here is excusing his behavior) but we need to blame it on something. He may just be evil to the core...if that's the case, his mom knew.

Do they have a time of death or are they going by when she was found? I pray to God she wasn't alive for much or any of the horror. Really. Sorry I know it's a little OT....

I meant to answer this before, I don't think anyone has answered this yet. The TOD is listed as 7:33, but the 911 call saying she was found was at 7:16 IIRC. So, that tells me that the TOD given was simply the time she was declared dead by the coroner.

I would guess they took her liver temperature (bashfully admiting: they do that on TV… so I'm guessing they really do it for bodies IRL too) That is supposed to give them a better window for when she passed, but I don't know how accurate it is or how tight it is. Would THAT be in the autopsy if they ever release it? That would narrow down the time she actually died, but we know it was inside a 4 hour window. Maybe less… weren't there a couple of early reports of the tarp being in the street earlier in the afternoon before the Whidd*on family opened it and called 911?

I know I have a CC in my Who's Who who says that he saw the tarp earlier and just though it was trash, but he doesn't give a time other than "earlier".

And lets take note.....we have no evidence of anything the gpa has said as being true.

That's very true however we don't know if anything anyone else has said to the media is true either (ie, Neighborhood Watch, mowing, bully type behaviour etc).

We can only surmise that it is.

No, but I always find it interesting when it's the estranged family giving the scoop to the media. In his interview it sounds like she's a twin and both she and her brother don't have anything to do w/ him anymore....... So, I presume she still has relationship w/ her brother? Why not interview him? Or his cousin that he appears to have a relationship with? (I assume that must be her brother's son, BTW).

Alright, company's here! Nitey nite!

Maybe I have missed it... But I don't recall hearing anything from KH's bio mom, either...

This is something that I have thought a lot about. Ever since I read that Jeffrey Dahmer was hit in the head when he was young by a 2by4. I don't know if that particular story was true, but I do know that the brain damage angle is a real thing. I have a huge wish and prayer that the scientific community would study this more. If there was some way to prevent these people from turning into monsters that would save so many innocent future victims. I do believe that TH was born a person, a little child. Something went wrong and I believe it is in the brain--even if it was caused by poor parenting, drug use, a chemical imbalance, a brain tumor, or a whack to the head. Something is wrong in that person's brain.

I know people often get upset whenever you think about a genetic or medical "reason" for these crimes, because it seems like one is denying the existence of evil and not holding perpetrators accountable--but the ultimate goal should be saving lives and maybe there is an important key to that in science. I'm not at all denying the outrage or horror at the evil perpetrated here, nor am I trying to elicit pity for the perp. It's just something I think about a lot. I wonder if in 100 years we will understand what is going on better, the way we now understand that sickness is caused by germs and diseases and not evil spirits and look back at this time at how sad and preventable it all was--if only we knew! JMO

Jeffrey Dahmer's home life was beyond dysfunctional. I have had this discussion about other horror criminals, and there is not one who did not come from a horrible background. Not one.

Otherwise, why worry about child abuse or neglect? What's the big deal?

Animals that are abused show the signs.

No one was surprised it was TH. He has been acting out since 5th grade, that we know of.

There have been numerous studies on what happens to children in toxic environments. Some make it out, but I bet anything they are not OK. I bet there are issues of self esteem that have to be dealt with.

There is no way that TH was not subjected to things that are not pretty.

That's my guess and Tyler was 6 when she left after trashing the trailer. Them there's something about moms twin brother and a motorcycle accident that totally estranged mom& her twin and Tyler from grandad

6?
Not trying to read anything into his age at that time and this crime......yet......just a mental note.
I had asked earlier when someone said 2 yrs old. I had thought it was 6.
so now, mom and bf had drug stuff, got kicked out, when TH was 6! Who was BF? Where is he now?

Ah! But lets not! Now what do we really know?

At one point she had a different last name. Not sure if she married or just used that name.

Ramirez had a lot more going on than head injuries.

I absolutely believe a genetic predisposition and environment can create monsters. We already know that. IMO. Sometimes they're just born.

I think this one was created.

I'm not trying to diagnose this guy either.

What is true is that statistically at least, he was an "at risk" child. He has many of the causative factors - drug abuse, possible ADD/ADHD, possible over medication, teenage mom, possibly a low IQ, broken family life, on and on.

The thing is something trips in some folks that doesn't in others.

I personally have no doubt that this fault is in the brain, and one day they will be able to find it.

They already have a rough idea that violence is related to impulse control, and the area of the brain that controls it.

I'm talking years away, not months. But one day, the fault will be identified, and hopefully, treatable.

Unfortunately in the meantime our society is creating these deviants at an ever increasing rate, with free access to snuff movies and violent 🤬🤬🤬🤬 and worse, devastating illegal drugs and ubiquitous legal ones, and to internet comrades who are damaged in this way also, egging each other on.

The internet is like Pandora's Box for these individuals. Attacks like this will become increasingly common unless something is done at a global level, now. :cow:

Nada.

May I just add here that way back in Thread #3 you were on to this murderer. I commented back that it didn't look good, and appropriately we got a snip, but I have to say IHAVE you were on it.

I am having a problem in locating a photo someone posted that showed the EXACT house he lived in. It had red arrows showing his house and the girls house. If anyone has a saved photo of it could you post it please, I want to look at it again. Thank you in advance.

For some reason I was a tad shocked gpa named the supposed biological father. Just right there tells a reporter. Hasn't had contact with his own family in years and names the guy.

Maybe it's just me?

I've been on Alanna's threads for a good while, but not for the entire distance. Can someone quickly remember and tell me whether, to our knowledge, human remains detection (cadaver) dogs have been used at any point?

ETA: Any mention of them being used at TH's house?
