Ummm, we have been asking about her car since the takedown.

I wonder why LE was only just able to get a warrant?

Really wondering about Mom, of course.

BBM

Something they found in the house/red car search, maybe??

Can we get a inventory list?
Probable cause affidavit?
Has it been served yet?

Still wondering what the substance was found on Alanna...,

KH killed her facebook today, it's gone.

I'd been looking for it for days to no avail. I had assumed she just didn't have one! *damnit*

Edited: stupid auto correct

  • #147
I'll guess it's her. Tyler's is still up.

I heard many of his and other people comments have been removed ... I can't verify that as I don't do Facebook.
Anyone know for sure?

I was seriously holding out for it being a panic, trying to get rid of her before mama came home.

As far as her car and the warrant and the idea that she may have had anything to do with it. I cannot... I just can't.

Remember: they thoroughly searched the Gallagher's home and vehicles too. It doesn't mean she is involved. Her car may not even be involved.

They must know when her car came & went that day from the surveillance videos. That would make it pretty easy to rule her car out if they could. If it left for work in the morning, and came home from work in the evening, and nothing else, that would rule it out. If it made other trips past the cameras…. well? Who knows.

Didn't they say they found evidence in the house that suggested an accomplice? Maybe they didn't have enough for a warrant to search her car until after they found whatever they found today.

They pulled trash/garbage from the Holder household on Monday.

Maybe they did some further DNA testing on items that were in the bins.

It seems likely that any further DNA testing on items found in the bin would likely just be getting returned by the lab--about a 3 day turnaround.

Maybe some of that DNA testing resulted in DNA matching another person's DNA (if there was any) found on little Alanna or the tarp.

Cheaper until you're up to an eight bag a day habit. I just wondered with the word "doned", but that guy probably couldn't spell. He didn't look like he was nodding either.

Actually, I don't think that's a bad suggestion at all since it appears (on FB) and according to another poster local to the area that he has rapidly gone downhill in the past year, dramatic change in appearance, etc..... Methadone apparently can cause weight gain and edema:

http://www.camh.ca/en/hospital/heal...ent_handbook/Pages/mmt_clienthndbk_myths.aspx

"Myth: Methadone makes you gain weight.

Reality: Not everyone gains weight when they go on methadone, but some do. This is usually because methadone improves your health and appetite, and so you eat more. If you’ve been using drugs for a long time, you may be underweight and need to gain a few pounds.

Even though the methadone drink is not “fattening” like sweets and fatty foods, methadone can slow your metabolism and cause water retention, which can lead to weight gain. You can control weight gain by choosing healthy foods that are high in fibre such as whole grains and fruits and vegetables, and by exercising regularly. If you nourish your body, you’ll keep the pounds off, and more important, you’ll feel good."

Thanks, yeah. I know it's 50/50 that it's just procedural. They either found something or they are ruling her out. I just feel like... if she helped, if they find that sort of evidence.... well, I don't think I would want to live on this planet anymore.

Yes that's what I'm guessing... They released the house back to her today, so they seem to be done searching it...

My heart hurts and my tummy feels sick....maybe it's just standard procedure...right? :hope:

Still going with trash. It's been my instinct since we found out it was trash day, and especially since an insider said trash was not picked up in the area even by late afternoon, and ESPECIALLY since the perp's lack of cognitive function became apparent.

I also happen to think it was the trash.

It hasn't been released yet. Maybe in a couple of days.

<MODSNIP>

I started to focus on how TH would communicate with someone to get them to come over.

If he sent them a text this could be searched.

If he called, you know the FBI has already looked at his phone records.

If he got on the computer you know the FBI is already looking at that.

BUT...

Today I was thinking about all the GAMING TH does.

OK, follow with me here...my boys have PS3 which has INTERNET hook up. They have on occasion been playing a game and then hooked up to the internet and I can hear OTHER PEOPLE online talking while playing the game.

I don't allow them to do this anymore once I caught on.

So today I asked them about PS3 and Xbox 360.
Both of these games have this same capability. You can sign in and if you have a microphone you can sit and talk to ANYONE else...

WITHOUT A TRACE.

Today I read one of TH's youtube things and he played a LOT of games.

He could have easily got online and on the microphone and just talked to the accomplice to get that person to come over.

BBM Do you have a link to that story? I have only ran across one article with the grandparents.

ETA If it is this one http://www.star-telegram.com/2013/07/24/5026216/saginaw-suspects-grandparents.html

the article stated that :

Kimberly Holder had become pregnant with her son while attending Boyd High School, her father said.

Tyler Holder seemed to have little relationship with his father, identified in court documents as Glenn Geisen.

Geisen told Tarrant County district clerk officials in a 2009 letter that he was not even aware that he had a child in Texas until he was served with a citation two weeks earlier indicating that child support was being sought.

Geisen, who lives in Montana, asked for officials’ help in making sure that Tyler was his son.

“On another note to everyone involved, if the facts on this show that it is my child, I will do everything that I can to be part of his life and to keep things right whatever they may be,” Geisen wrote.

Paternity tests indicated that Geisen was almost certainly Holder’s father. It is unclear, however, whether Geisen ever established a relationship with him. Geisen did not respond to messages seeking comment Tuesday or Wednesday."

According to the article the grandfather only said the first line and the rest was the author's opinion based off of court documents. They admit that they don't know if the father established a relationship but they (the press) called/messaged him to ask. Ugh...I hate how the media writes stuff! They stick stuff in from "court documents" or other sources, not identified, in between the quotes from a family member. I think they do it on purpose.

That is the link I saw it on, SLP. I was referring to the grandpop has not seen him in so long so how does he know anything, really?

Honestly I was a bit taken back the grandpop named the father, and went into the argument and told about a twin sibling of the mom. With that I only guessed the cousin looking for TH when he supposedly ran away would be related to the twin of the mom if that makes any sense?

Don't you wonder why KH was not allowed to see her son? :|

To assist me in getting my mind off of the possibility of the mother...:stormingmad:

Interesting thought. I'm feeling like if they haven't zeroed in on someone from phone/text records, the possibility that the person was already there is high. I hate it, I hate thinking it, but I fear it was more than one person hurting her.

You could be right.

When you use a landline, does the phone company keep records of the phone numbers you call? It's been so long since we've had a land line, I can't remember.
