Have they searched or taken evidence from any home or car not belonging to AG's family?

Thread is moving fast, does anyone remember which LE Facebook was linked earlier? The one with the interesting discussion among locals about today's search?

(I'm trying to figure out if it's an 'official' LE page and thus if I can paraphrase some of the comments.)

It's the Saginaw TX News Facebook.

I just watched the local NBC TV News. All they had to report about the case is that they've set up roadblocks around the intersection where the body was found and are questioning everyone who drives through to ask if they saw anything last Monday unusual. This leads me to think they have no suspects or POI yet.

Today, LE blocked off the entrance to Babbling Brook Drive to question motorists about any unusual sightings on July 1.

The search warrant affidavit, obtained by News 8 on Monday afternoon, details more than 100 items removed from the residence in the 600 block of Babbling Brook Drive and from the family's Ford Taurus, Honda Odyssey and Hyundai Elantra vehicles.

Those interviewed by officers told News 8 they were specifically asked about two dark-colored cars that may have been in the area the night of Alanna's death.

Seems fairly obvious they have no clue who killed her, IMO.

Looking at the picture with the cop cars with lights on parked where they are, I wonder if my friend assumed it was blocked off. I wouldn't turn down there unless I lived there. LOL

And why are their lights on?

Odd....I wondered why their lights are on as well. Also, I wonder why uniformed officers are there? I would think plain closed SVU detectives or FBI would be there. jmo

I thought this was about DNA -- but they took like 8 toothbrushes, not counting the head from an electrical toothbrush.

How many people live in the house?

Salem

Six people it appears, Salem.

Wonder if the kids got new toothbrushes to go camping? Any extended trip with kids we always made sure they had new toothbrushes.

Search warrant details items removed from home of slain Saginaw girl

From that article

Saginaw Police Department spokesman Damon Ing said investigators are looking two vehicles –– one is a red truck with a green splash of paint near the rear tire well. Ing has not identified the second vehicle.

Interesting. Did you see what else they removed?

They removed Walmart bags, two swabs of “possible blood,” cat hair from multiple cats, arm and leg restraints and water from a hot tub, the document shows. Investigators also removed bedding, belts, towels and receipts from both Walmart and Lowe's hardware store.
In all, investigators took 129 items from the three locations.

Gah!!!! I google it. :blushing: Black appears to be a favorite color for this item.

Are we going down the road thinking theres some S & M involved with this family and social network? Just wondering....

Saginaw authorities canvassing neighborhood near where murdered 6-year-old girl found bound

snipped
Saginaw police are waiting for the Tarrant County Medical Examiner to process evidence found at the scene where Alanna was discovered, Ing said.

“Once we get that we kind of have a little better grasp of what we’re doing,” Ing said. “It couldn’t come fast enough.”

"....a little better grasp of what we're doing....."

This, from the same guy who last week said everyone is "perfectly safe" because they believed it would be an "isolated case".

They took a bag of evidence (as reported by MSM) from a neighbor house with a teen son a few doors down on Friday. Contents were not leaked, though. The son was reported as being well known in the neighborhood because he mowed lawns. (I am just repeating the MSM article; be aware the teen is a minor and we are not allowed to sleuth him.)

In regards to restraints could they mean the kind they use in hospitals and institutions say for the elderly? Not four point restraints that's for sure.

Maybe they do mean restraints used in BDSM. Where's Astro Kitty when we need her?

Hmm? No, I didn't say anything about the perp leaving anything in the car. I'm sorry, I did say it was a pet theory, it wasn't my intention to annoy anyone with it. :)

I'm not annoyed at all.. Just trying to understand:)

I think she means that the perp had planned the murder for some time, and had taken tape and other items from the car ahead of time, and had them ready to use after she was snatched. Presumably the point would be to try to cast guilt on the family.

No one noticed someone digging in another person's car? And how would anyone see that many items in a car to know what to get?

The windows on my car are not that dark, but you still have a hard time to see into the car.

And if they were taken at night, it would be even more difficult to see into the car to know where to get your items. And then there is the pesky issue of the light going on.

I have to admit, I store things in my car, but the only permanent things that are visible are shopping bags.

Oterwise, things are in the trunk and glove box. New cars probably have way more hidden options

Ummmm........ No. The family is not sleuthable unless LE names them as POI/suspect. So we are not going to explore.
