I walk three to five miles a day. Two miles is a long way for little legs. Two miles seems like a long way to me ,too , and I am used to walking farther. She just turned 6 a couple of weeks before she died.

I really have never seen a little child walk that far on their own.

She was said to ride around on a scooter. I wonder if she used her scooter that day or if it is missing.

I'm not caught up yet, but wanted to comment on this. My kids routinely hike 3 miles with no problem, we walked to the park today which is probably a mile, but there is no way either of them would try to walk there alone. Then again they wouldn't walk out of the fenced yard without a parent because IT'S NOT SAFE.

Makes me want to cry that her little clothes weren't ironed for her photo. ( The lavender outfit with the green brica brac).

Speaking ONLY from my own "real estate experience" in DFW w/ my own & friends' homes.....AND, I know NOTHING about how homes in this Saginaw neighborhood are designed.....but:

many here that were built since 80's/90's enter directly into a more formal living/dining area - which no one ever uses outside of holidays and are the biggest wastes of space ever, IMO, anyway..... and the real living happens toward the back side of the house facing the backyard. I'm sure there are many exceptions, but now that I'm thinking about it all three I've owned and all of my friends and acquaintances are designed this way.

I only point this out because, at that time of day in a residential neighborhood, it's a safe bet that most families are in family room/den/"everyday" livingroom, kitchen, dining....that face the backyard.

If something like this happened in front of my house "around dinnertime", I can honestly say I wouldn't see or hear a thing. Maybe perp was counting on this?

FWIW.....

ETA: I don't disagree that perp wanted body found quickly, but perhaps also knew there was window of time where chances in residential "spec" home would be greatly reduced?

This is absolutely, 100% true for EVERY house I have been in since I moved to the DFW area, including every house here in Saginaw. There isn't even a window that overlooks the street in my living room - you have to be in one of the bedrooms in my house to see the road. It's entirely possible to never have a clue what's going on in the neighborhood unless you're standing in a bedroom, looking out the blinds. Much different from the homes I grew up in back in the midwest.

To answer the question about the ice cream truck situation in Saginaw, I have been here for two years and can count on one hand the number of times I've seen an ice cream truck. Not very common.

It's already linked on this thread. Father wrote the license plate but not the middle number.

Here in TX, standard plates are three letters and three numbers....for example:

DGN 973

(THIS IS ONLY AN EXAMPLE, NOT ANYTHING REPORTED IN THIS CASE)

So, by middle number I guess they mean the first number? Seems to me that could be narrowed down in ten digits (0 to 9). Right? Vanity plates ought to be even more memorable and identifiable - esp w/ vehicle description. I've seen some (but few, newer residents I guess?), with four at end and some with letters in between.....but if only one number/letter is missing the most plates/registrations they would have to search is 36, right?

I really, really want link to MSM story verifying that LE are having trouble tracing this vehicle. Anyone? Again, TIA.

See my post #520 above, this info came from a blog, that is not MSM. MSM has reported that the father got the license tag number and has turned into police. There is no report from MSM that I have seen that says it was a partial number. LE may have already cleared this person in connection with Alanna.

Have you seen the one in the red gingham dress in the field of Texas bluebonnets (state flower)? I just tried to google it, but didn't find it. It is on other pages in this thread, though. I'll keep looking......

She is absolutely beautiful. That's how I'll always remember her.

Catching up.....I try to read before I comment - TRY....but I haven't seen locally or in these threads where they don't have complete plate.

Based on your last sentence is this statement simply an assumption on your part? (if so, no problem - just trying to understand) Or, is this a stated fact?

Thanks!

The father was able to get the license.

From link ===> The man quickly took off, but not before Acuna was able to jot down his license plate number.

I don't want to break any WS rules here so this is the link where I was reading this.

Scroll way down and there is a clear photo of the tarp in the intersection. I'm tired tonight so this may be a different case. I thought it was odd in the one photo that shows the woman bending over by the stuffed animals that it says, they didn't know the identity of the body???

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...tarp-street-polyamorous-relationship-man.html

It's the same case. BUT: thank you SO MUCH for taking the time to find the link. I really do appreciate your effort and concern!

IF an accident, would a Narcissist even give this a second thought? Go through all this trouble?

Why? It was an accident. IMO, a Narcissist would never give a second thought IF was an accident.
What if the child was a relative of his? What if her death would directly cast suspicion upon him? What if her death could send him to jail/cause his other children to be sent to foster care/lose his respect in the community/end up on the child abuse registry for his state/and etc...?

It's a beautiful picture, just how a sweet little innocent girl should be.
I think it's one of the most beautiful pictures I have ever seen.

In your example, middle number would be 7.

So the article I just read said that the father of the girls who were confronted by the guy in the red pickup truck WAS able to jot down the license number.

Sooooo....if that was a month ago, what's the hold up with LE? Hmmmmm....

I've lived here 27 years. Most houses I've been in, are NOT laid out like that. My in-laws house has a formal living room, and that is the only house I can recall. My home walks right into the one and only living room, and so does almost every house I've been into here. Living, dining (basically, family areas) are all in the front with windows.

Is LE saying that there is a hold up ? They might have had the guy all figured out a long time ago .

The partial license tag info comes from a link in post #273. The link is to an article at examiner.com which is essentially a blog, not MSM. So this is NOT to be taken as fact.

In the video and article at this link, it is reported that the father got the tag number, says nothing about a partial number --

http://www.nbcdfw.com/news/local/Incident-With-Pickup-Truck-Eyed-in-Saginaw-Slaying-214693701.html

Hey Lady!

Thank you so much! Your link is accurate. The link in #273 is Examiner, and I learned my lesson about that site last night!! (y'all are learnin' me!)

Here's what that rag says (please no one look it up - these people get paid per click and I promise I purely copied and pasted!):

"He was able to jot down the license plate number of the truck, except for the middle of three numbers at the end of it."

So, like I said, standard TX plates have three numbers at the end. Between zero and nine, that's a grand total of ten vehicles.

Now, if none of them check out, reported stolen plate(s).....I don't know what that means.....but otherwise easily (I'd think!) traced by LE!

I love you, Carole! You can move in w/ me and the other gals from thread 3 (sorry, can't remember everyone yet - NOOBS!). I'll cook!

Well, here's the thing:

The incident with the girls happened over a month ago. 'Luring' is a crime.

If LE had this guy all figured out a long time ago then they would already know who and what and where he is at and then wouldn't be asking for the 'public's help' in locating a red pickup truck with a green splash on the rear passengers side.

The red pickup truck with a green splash on the rear passengers side may be a different vehicle, the girls just said it was rusty and nothing about a paint splash. Unless I missed something.
