What other explanations were there for the water sample?

Some folks theorized that her body (sorry) might have been cleaned with a bleach solution to remove physical evidence/destroy DNA.

Iirc wasn't shot, stabbed and strangled were ruled out. Correct? I think we were left with drowning & suffocation and natural causes.

My memory isn't always the greatest, but what I remember is that it was a poster who had either talked to the person who saw her or had a friend who did. There was never a video or anything on MSM that I recall, and the poster hadn't been verified.

Scary because I remember a video, but then why can't anyone find it???

Hallucinations. Not good.

Internal injuries?

Bludgeoned?

Ashley Estrell Plano, TX
Disappeared Sept 4 1993 (Sat) Labor Day Sept 6
Carpenter Park 6701 Coit Rd Plano TX
Found 6 miles from park. I tried to see if I could find a dirt road 6 miles from the park but I bet many things have changed over the yrs.

While digging up more info on Ashley I found a local reporter ( Shelly Slater from WFAA) who says she was friends with Ashley. I wonder if she might be willing to add anything since Ashley seems to be forgotten and Blair taken center stage. Anyone good at writing letters? I am horrible at writing maybe someone wants to send her an email.

Amber Hagerman Arlington TX
Disappeared Jan 13 1996 ( Sat) Martin Luther King Day Jan 15th
Highland Dr went around the corner towards East Abrams St
Found 4 miles away Have not found an address. A guy walking his dog near Forest Hill apartments found her. Looking up these apartments I see they were formerly Northridge so I do not know if this is the correct place.
2011 Lincoln Dr Arlington TX

Some kids could have roughhoused with her and broken her neck.

LE never said the parents were or werent suspects. They did say they weren't PRIME suspects and apparently LE has not officially cleared anyone. IMO

yes, you are correct! PRIME suspects was the what they said. Thank you.

I am researching other cases now, to see what "isolated case" might mean.
To me it means not a serial killer or connected to another crime locally. Just not sure, what the heck they mean.

People learn from their mistakes as well as the mistakes of others.

I look at it as problem solving.

Society makes laws on mistakes. Take mercury , for instance. As kids, we played with mercury balls at school.

So , up to the individual. Learn, discard, or file away for future reference.

The problem is not about losing a mitten, so all kinds of hackles rise and sabers are rattled.

I learned something when a child I know was kidnapped. Changed the way I allowed my children freedom. Changed the way a lot of people allowed freedom. Before that, we did not know. Now I do.

But it kind of reminds me of litigating. After each case lawyers think of something they could have done better. They beat themselves up about it. And they try to not make the same mistakes. And each time they make a new mistake.

I think the question relates to how anyone found out no one was home. Did the people say they were not home at the relevant time?

Pivotal question.

What does an "isolated case" mean in law enforcement speak?
To me, it means a domestic situation but, they also say the parents are not the suspects. My next guess is that they have no proof it is a the work of a serial killer or not want to panic the public.
Any other cases where the LE claimed "isolated case" when it was not?

I can't think if one.

There are numerous causes that could be added to this list.....electrical shock, extreme heat exposure (or cold), head trauma from a fall or blow, run over by a vehicle, crush injuries from something falling onto her, poisoning, drug ingestion, cuts that were not technically "stab" wounds etc.

NOT shot, stabbed or strangled really leaves endless possibilities still open.

Do you know if the Gallagher children are bathed every night in the hot Texas summer? (thanks in advance)

Here's another interesting quote from the LE spokesman. He stated, "Things like this happen sometimes in our community." This was immediately before or immediately after he stated that "this is an isolated case" and "I can assure you the town is safe". (paraphrased)

The only answer i can give through speculation on these statements would be that they know whom did it and the suspect committed suicide.

But if that was the case, then we would know, and they would not be asking for tips and so forth.........Something that was recovered or received by mail, which may explain the FBI or not, lead them to believe this is an isolated case meaning wont happen again and the town is safe at least wont happen again from this person in this town..........Strange.

Honestly, I think in this case, all it means ....there aren't little dead girls wrapped in tarps at every stop sign.

I have no idea what they mean when they say it, but I always take it to mean there haven't been any similar cases. I don't think that always means anything though since some serial killers do change their MO at times. MOO

Yes, they bathed daily.

Seriously not trying to be an A**, but can you find an MSM link for this?

I also recall a vaguely similar quote (looking for it myself right now, BTW), that was more to the effect that "things like this happens sometimes".....in all communities(?). Not that I'm Ing's biggest fan when it comes to his PR statements, but I just didn't take it that it there are, more or less, random unsolved deaths of children.....

That said, I can vouge for his statements (not that they are believed): "isolated case", and immediate and surrounding communities are "perfectly safe".

I don't know how to put this so I will just say it straight out. First I am not condemning the parents so don't waste space jumping on me for that.

Two houses from me lives a little girl 6 or 7 years old. She is outside alone most of the time. She rides blocks and blocks on her bike alone. She has come to my yard to play. No one calls for her, no one comes looking for her. I am a 50 yo grandma but IF I was other than that - there have been many many opportunities for someone to grab this girl. If I were so inclined I myself could have because it is hours before anyone calls her name - usually mealtime.

DON'T jump on me as I am NOT saying the neighbors or the family are evil. I am simply saying some people are too naive.

So how do neighbors notice a red truck with a green splotch on the rear wheel well but don't really notice the tarped package on the road? It's funny how things like that happen. JMO
