Tarp seen at noon...all the way to 7pm

Parents door to door search according to neighbors began much later than claimed.

Time last seen and by whom is sketchy at best.

If she was killed after 5 and discovered at 7... She would have been limp, not rubber like.

All IMO

They could just have felt her for a second or misdescribed the feeling. Being young and in shock. I recently lost my grandmother and am trying to think back to feeling her in the minutes-hours afterwards. We were at her home with hospice and had several hours after she passed to spend with her. I cannot recall exactly the way she felt, but rubber isnt a word I'd use to describe the touch at any point up until her funeral. I would say just more cold and some rigor in her hands. This was in a climate-controlled room, she was elderly, and had been recently radiated and was on more meds than I could count. I'm sure all of that does make a difference, I just don't know if it would be a significant difference. Thank you for tackling the timeline. If you need some help let me.

I'm re-reading an article about Dad and a neighbor searching for Alanna. The article was a good "refresher" for me!

<snipped>

"Janus said he offered to help him search and as they walked toward the street, two police patrol units pulled up next to each other on the corner. The officers were talking “car to car.”
The father approached the cars. Janus said he suspected that the man was asking about his daughter. The father turned back toward Janus, but one of the patrol cars pulled around to the father, Janus said, and the officer offered to drive him back to his house."

I thought of the rigor possibility back when folks were interpreting that call or interview or whatever it was to say that she "was propped up", because I thought that would maybe indicate she died in a different position, rigor had begun to set in, and her body was holding that position after she was moved. But later, seems the phrase was probably "tarped up".

To me, feeling "rubbery" sounds more pre-rigor.

Mom left approx. Noon
Mom arrived back home approximately 4:00
Alanna was not there
all unconfirmed to my knowledge
Alanna was discovered approx 7:15

I'm sure MM has verified that she returned home then and that Alanna wasn't there. I'm not really sure what difference it makes when her mother left or what time her body was discovered. Neither would change anything I said in my post. :dunno:

Yes it is, just like darn near everything else cause we have so little to work with. It was only my conjecture and what I used to formulate it. I'm under the impression she was in rigor. IMO

I have to go back and look, but I remember something caught me that I thought so too!
and it threw me in the perceived timeline.

We have a verified insider who saw Alanna as late as 2:30, an hour from her home.

The times people have given for seeing the tarp range from noon right up until the time the boys reported it. Nothing official on that point.

A freshly dead body (1-3 hours) can be said to feel like cold rubber. I can attest to that myself.

bbm: bessie, just for clarity -- that's the insider who was an hour from her home, right? (not Alanna an hour from her home).

ETA: Or am I thinking of the wrong insider? Help, I am confused.

ETA again: Never mind -- I think momrids6 cleared up my confusion, a few posts on down.

Im not saying it would.
im considering we dont have a verified timeline from when mom left to when Alannah left to go play.
we know mom left approx 12:00. We know Alannah was found approximately 7:15.
What happened at any time in between?

Has the Gallagher's numerical address been mentioned in MSM?

.

The 4 pm time is an estimate, but a fairly close one. I got home at 2:30 and I live a little over an hour away from Saginaw, so LG should've arrived shortly before or at 4 pm.

Actually, we left shortly after noon. We ran a couple of errands along the way.

Our insider and LG left the home around Noon. Our insider got to her home, which is a bit over an hour away at 2:30. So, our insider & LG did not see Alanna after Noon.

This is the timeline that is different than I was originally going by.
so, my specific question is.....
what time did MM say Alanna could go out to play?

I gotcha, and I apologize for my error. I misunderstood, and thought Alanna went with her mother to bring LDhummingbird home. So the neighbor who claimed to see Alanna at 2:30 could be correct.

Exactly!
Now when did she leave the home. Where did she go?
Any eye witnesses?
She was discovered deceased approximately 1.5 mls away at approximately 7:15 p.m

“Every time I walk out that front door, I’m going to look over here and know I found a little girl. Someone’s little girl, that’s just sitting here miserable in the middle of the street dead, and her family’s out there wondering where she’s at,” Smith said.

Was she sitting up when he found her???
