I have been coming to this post for years for consolidated information on Ali as I was doing sleuthing of my own here in town, even contacting the company that administers the technology that Spring Independent School District uses with their "chipped ID cards", prompting a sweep of the area for transmission of her school ID tag. My husband and I grew up, and still reside in the area of Spring that the Lowitzer's live in, and both went to the school that Ali went to. I also have a sister Ali's age who lives in the neighborhood across from the Burger Barn, and walks the area regularly, despite Ali's disappearance =( There is not a day that goes by that I don't wonder what happened to this girl... or why it is that no one has any good information. The community will never be the same. My mother in law was even home the day of her disappearance, only a few blocks away from the bus stop. Seemed a normal day as any. I see Joann in the grocery store and I just want to hug her, it must be very difficult to try and move on with your life. Of course I never have, out of respect for her privacy... who would want that when you picking your veggies? But she knows we all care... she sees the large groups that show up for searches, and fundraisers... as well as the flyers that are still in most businesses, on peoples cars, on the exact grocery buggy that she is loading her things into....
I really just wanted to let you all know how close I am to this all, in the hopes if there were any questions that anyone has about the area, I can be of help. And also, to thank people like you all that care about everyone, from everywhere. It took something hitting really close to home to open my eyes to the multitude of missing children that are NEVER found, as well as how bad my home state, even particularly, my metropolitan area of Houston.
