Hours of Operation
Monday thru Friday
6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Maybe she traditionally took the city bus home after her ACE program?

ETA: I can't find any sort of public transportation in Greenville, Tx.

These I believe are the "office hours". I used to dispatch for a school district in AZ that had buses on the road from 4:30am till 8:30pm. But if you wanted to speak to a supervisor or the director they were in between 7am and 5pm.
Also most school districts get paid more for activity/late buses so they have them and encouragestudents to use them.

Of course this is happening in TX and not AZ ....THIS IS ALL IMOO & :twocents: !

Wondering if any storage units/facilities (trunk) in close proximity to where the trunk was found?

Found the answer already. ACE has a special bus to take the kids home.

The body was discovered by construction workers Tuesday morning four miles north of Wills Point. According to Van Zandt County Sheriff Pat Burnett, the body had not been there long.

Curious about time of death. Very sad indeed.

Thank you all for the links and transcriptions! I had to leave my PC for a while, just now catching up.

What a heartbreaking case :(

Sounds like grounds for a civil lawsuit.

Especially when the autopsy reveals she was still alive for days but no AA was issued and no searching took place by LE. :banghead:

As someone with a career in education, I am just saddened on how nonchalant and defensive the superintendent seemed. I kept waiting for the helpful reason he was speaking, you know, what would bring us closer to Alicia's justice (information, etc). But it wasn't anything about her justice, he didn't even look at their family when he offered condolences.

Maybe he felt guilty? Not as in guilty of the crime but guilty because he has some suspicions? jmo

I did not catch the presser either.

I think the Aunt has FB on her phone and uses it a lot? If that is so , she would see anything any of her "friends, family....etc...." post. Not really stalking per se.

Also, how many kids are left on the bus after Alicia got dropped off? I wonder if any kids could have watched her for a bit longer than the only mentioned witness, the bus driver.

my gosh, it just seems so short a distance to be kidnapped.

I bet local. Also not leaning towards a kid. This 🤬🤬🤬 had a truck IMO.

My first instinct is it was someone she knew. They drove by and said "Hey wanna come there and there?" and she hopped in.

Isn't it most of the time someone they knew? A neighbour, a maintenance man known in the neighbourhood, etc ... just speculating

Poor girl! What did she have to endure?

I tell you guys what.. after watching that LAME excuse of a presser with those horrible comments by the school person.. I had to go out and get away.. I just raked like 25 tarps of leaves.

Can you guys imagine what her family is feeling?

I swear with all I have in my being I will make sure that Alicia's thread is at the top until the freak that did this to her is caught.

I wish today that at least one of those 'spokespersons' would have vowed the same today instead of covering their butts over why they waited so long to help her family.

I am so mad right now I could nail the siding on a five story house WITH MY TEETH. I cannot imagine how Alicia's family is feeling.

So sad. :( :( This is at least the 4th or 5th case here where I've hoped that at least if the person has to be gone, it was quick.

If she spent a lot of time alone in her room, she may have been spending a lot of time online, posting on FB or other forms of social media. Our young people naively give out too much info about themselves and their activities. And, there's always the chance that one of her online friends wasn't who he claimed to be. Even adults sometimes fall victim to this.

You and me both Nurse...Bless that family for having the strength to sit through that presser without running up to that podium and...:furious:

Their comments at the end of the presser showed both restraint and determination. They are so clearly laser focused on getting justice for Alicia, and not letting any incompetence or politics get in their way. I am really rooting for them.

That's the time of discovery. The ME has not said the time of death nor cause other than "trauma". :(

Just some wonderings/questions:

The aunt didn't expect Alicia home until AFTER her ACE program ended. Thus they didn't get worried until around 7:30 pm that Friday.

1) What happened to cause Alicia to come home early? Sick at school, etc?
2) Why didn't the Aunt know she was coming home early? Cell phone?
3) Alicia seemed like a loner. No mention of friends/extracurricular activities, etc.
4) Friday, Nov. 2nd was the end of the first marking period for grades.

Van Zandt County Sherriff Pat Burnett said a construction worker found a chest-type trunk on F.M. 47 around noon on Tuesday, and Moore was found inside.

“She was near a bridge,” he said. “She was on level ground behind the bridge railing.”

http://www.tylerpaper.com/article/20121107/NEWS01/121109810

Was the trunk placed there from the side of the highway? Then the trunk wasn't thrown or dropped: is that correct? Perp pulls over and places it or hides it behind the railing?

The placement of her body in a trunk disturbs me...as if the perp was just moving his storage type trunk into his vehicle.

Thanks Nurse and to all of you who posted about the presser. I know this sounds lame, but I'm thankful I know better than to watch it now. I watched a few seconds, then my computer locked up and I saw the comments here. I didn't try to get it back. Sounds like it was awful. I can't even imagine the pain her family was feeling BEFORE this, nevermind during and after.

Just my opinion, FWIW

I don't think Alicia knew the perps
I think they were driving a larger truck with an extended cab
I think there are two perps, approx age late 20's early thirties
Slim builds/ relatively clean cut looking/5'8"-5'10"
I believe this was a snatch abduction- preceded by the men possibly asking her a question
I believe she was sexually assaulted and physically assaulted as well
I believe she will have some injury to her legs and a head injury around her right temple
I think the trunk has been in someone's garage for a long time, with things stacked on top of it.
The person who owns the trunk may never know it is missing, the person may be elderly
I believe that the trunk was dropped off in the morning, before dawn.

Yes. Just hoping time of death was days earlier, and that she was not suffering at a prior location.

Thank you Nurse....I felt like you and I were watching that presser "together"....I could feel the frustration and anger running flowing right between us. I am so glad you said you will keep her thread at the top. I was going to plead with everyone on here to please help her family all we can. I feel like they are not going to get anymore help than they have already and that makes me sick. I am certainly not as good as sleuthing as many of you but I will do what I can!
