So I guess she has issues with her husband. This is so sad. I would be freaking out if I was that mom.

Police are in the process of bringing an Alvin woman to the island to show her a photo or sketch of an infant boy found dead today by sightseers on the isle’s east end.

Lt. Jorge Trevino said the woman is missing a blond-haired, blue-eyed boy who is 4 months old. Police have not released the woman’s name.

She said her husband left this morning with her infant boy, and she hasn’t see the boy since.

ok, who is this lady? Do we have anymore information on her yet?

I wonder if the father was a suicide?

This is such a sad story. What can anyone say? :(

It is that poor girls baby. Police are looking for the biological father, Travis Mullis. They said it may have been spontaneous as in the baby may have been ejected from the car. He had on a clean diaper and appeared cared for and that the car seat was a highend car seat????http://www.myfoxhouston.com/myfox/p...n=8&locale=EN-US&layoutCode=TSTY&pageId=3.2.1

OH! :( I can't even imagine the demons which would haunt a parent who would murder their own child.

Again, God bless the child.

Anita, didn't that last update kind of sound like the cops were alluding it could have been an accident? If so then where's the dad? It is very sad.

Hard for me to visualize the baby in his car seat being ejected from the car. How would that happen? It sounds to me like the baby was either very hurt or dead and he was thrown out of the car and his car seat followed or he was thrown out in his car seat and he ejected from the car seat. Poor little thing.

I wonder why the husband had left with the baby on Tues and mom hadn't heard from him? That sounds strange. Were they in a fight? She must not have thought that he would harm the baby or she would have called the cops. Yet, on the other hand, why would she think that the baby on the news was hers. Something had to have been going on between her and her husband for her to even think it was her baby.

Wonder where the husband is?

When I told Mr. Richman about this, the first thing he said was, "could it have been a (dumb) new dad, who put the carseat on top of his car and forgot about the baby?" (After I chewed off the larger part of his backside he added) "When HE realized what a stupid thing he'd done, he just drove off?"

I think that LE now knows our baby's name. If it's the family they are thinking of, I hope his father turns himself in, rather than hurting himself. The ripples of pain reach out, always, when someone dies. In this case, so many more people will be in pain for a long time, if there is a suicide in this case, imo.

God bless them all!

Very disturbing story. How very sad for that mother to have to ID her four month old baby. Bless her heart.

It is possible either the carseat was installed improperly and the door opened when turning a corner which allowed it to spill out onto the roadway or could have been left on top of the car. Until we know more of the situation, I would hate to say the father killed the child on purpose.

He needs to turn himself in and tell the truth no matter what the consequences. The poor mother deserves to know what happened to her beautiful baby.

I had the same thought as Mr. Richman.

Poor little baby :( Prayers to the family and to the couple who found him.

maybe it was another car jaking and the father has been killed as well

So many theories, but the fact is I will be sad to hear any of the reasons for that little baby being dead. I hope it was an accident though.

Oh my gosh what a story?! Poor little baby boy..I really do wonder what happened though?.. I feel so bad for the guy who found the baby he seems really deeply saddened.
