I live in the area and have friends who are friends with Allie. There are currently lots of police near Jones Creek. I was just sent a live video that shows them all around an area and people are saying they found her car. Please pray for her family and those who love her

They just moved the reporters and put up crime scene tape.

That's not good news. Praying for her family. Just a note to fellow sleuthers. The crime scene tape going up does NOT mean a crime has been committed (though obviously, it can be, hence the term). It's used to secure a scene in a lot of different scenarios (i.e. plane crash, etc.)

Or foul play. Anyone could have sent that text ... if you want to disappear, wouldn't you come up with a better story? There's only so much water on her route home and they should be able to pinpoint the time she left the restaurant and the time the text was sent. This should give a fairly narrow search radius.

I dunno maybe she really did run off the road, but on the face of it, sounds strange. I'm jaded I know.

That is true too. I was thinking along the lines that vehicles in water can go decades before discovery, and that text is a way to get searches started.

.We got one fact. She's missing and been missing too long," Miller said. "Part of the investigation is that her phone last pinged pretty close to this area, and she actually said she was in some water, and her car was taking on water."

I google mapped Jones creek at 359. There is a lot of guardrail and even cement to keep people out of it for a long ways on either side of it. Water is probably high right now, Friday we had flash flood watches on the southwest side of Houston area. I don’t know if that’s a high water area or not.

So sad. :(

Oh dear, what everyone feared. Rest In Peace Allie.
May her family find some comfort that she was found and brought home to them at the end.

Reading this heartbreaking thread reminds me so much of Erica Hernandez’s. :(

Prayers for the family; bless her children’s hearts.

FBCSO: Body found after missing Richmond woman's SUV recovered from creek

FBCSO: Body found after missing Richmond woman's SUV recovered from creek

Came across as news alert. Body found in SUV

The identity of the victim and cause of death is pending autopsy, but the sheriff’s office says information suggests that the person found inside of the vehicle is Allison Chapman Kempe.

Authorities say the SUV was located in a section of Jones Creek about 1,000 feet north of FM 359 in Richmond. The vehicle reportedly became visible as water levels in Jones Creek receded following heavy rains in the area last week.

UPDATE: Sheriff Fagan just told us the car being pulled from the water does match the description of the car belonging to Allison Kempe. They are still pulling the vehicle from the water, so no positive ID yet. They’re still working to confirm if there is a body inside.

I wonder who she was with at the restaurant?

Was she drinking? Did the restaurant over serve her?

Oh no. Those poor boys.

Yup, my thoughts. Don’t know much about TX dram shop, but curious to see if there’s a coming lawsuit.
