Well, tried again to find out what's going on with this case, but unfortunately, can't find anything recent. Anyone else have better luck than I?
TIA!
TIA!
Hey Niner. Looks like February 26 is the trial date and they have been busy with subpoenas.:bump: this one up!
I haven't had any luck in finding ANYTHING on this case.....
Anyone else - maybe there in Texas? TIA!
Here's a Google Alert I just got:

When her daughter's ex-husband admitted to the brutal Christmas-time slaying that shook League City last year, Stephanie Lieber Johnson thought it would help bring her some closure.
Instead, she's fighting the accused killer's family for time with her grandson, who has autism, almost one year later. She filed an appeal this week after a judge ruled against her.

The link says his custody was decided years ago and the gf has no strikes against him. SH is not allowed visitation but other family members are.I do not understand how his family has custody right now.

Oh. [emoji20]This explains a bit better about the 2 search warrants:
http://www.chron.com/neighborhood/b...may-be-missing-League-City-woman-10827511.php
So they were there with a search warrant to get some specific property and found other evidence which lead to them getting a second search warrant that allowed them to find the body.
Oh wait - I think I read that wrong.... Looks like the April 19th (Motion to Suppress) was moved to July 26th - ?? -
