story was he hit her with truck and he freaked out and so he killed her.

That is an absolute lie. Zero zip nada truth to that.

His first words when encountering the ranger and asked if Athena was still alive. He claims no she was not alive when he put her in that truck. You will see she was very much alive when he put her in that truck. He leaned down and said "don't scream, or I will hurt you" He said it twice. and he made good on that threat.
