OMG, he did play therapy with TH. Had minimal contact w Melissa.

so far this is a big nothingburger.

Doesn't have records, assumes he worked with TH. Can't say for certain he provided services to them specifically. Probably did work with them. no specific recall of his interactions with TH or TH's demeanor or any behavioral problems although that wouldn't be uncommon for children he encountered at the facility.

Witness (Mr. Weeks) is now being crossed by state. So you don't really remember what you did or didn't do for this family is that right? Yes.

redirect: in order to be admitted to first choice would Melissa have to have a drug issues? Almost certainly.

NOTHING BURGER. WITNESS IS EXCUSED.

   RIDICULOUS WASTE OF TIME. If I was a juror I would be flippin livid listening to all these non specifics and vague insinuations.

Oh, but he does recall TH and his family.

Remembers them vaguely.

Later recognized the mother, didn't (couldn't) recognize TH, age 7 or 8.

Remembers them as typical.

There's your bombshell.

Fizzle.
Poof! 💥
Play therapy? We won’t hear TH reach puberty.

He can testify to nothing relative to TH or her mother, just that they were there.

And would have had play therapy with TH, but can't remember.

Assumes he did, anyway.

It seems likely I did work with them.
Well, that’s solid testimony….not.

On cross: no, I don't have any specific recollection [of treating TH or his mother].

I think we may have reached the bottom of the Defense's presentation.

So many delays.

Court is in recess while he looks at records

Mr Weeks (sp)? was the mysterious virtual and blurred 'therapist' witness was a colossal waste of time. He could not definitely say it was indeed Melissa Horner and Tanner Horner that he MAY HAVE treated, because he didn't have his records. Just a slap in the jurors face. What a disgrace.

if i was TH i would have begged for DP after state rested

I think the defense is drawing this out as long as possible to distance the jury from the murder tape….as if anyone who heard that horror will forget?

This is so dumb.

In every trial I've watched, for sentencing, there is a report prepared, a comprehensive report on mitigating factors.

Is this next witness going to introduce that?

I know I’m frustrated, but this female defense attorney’s laughing and joking is getting on my nerves,

No. No, no, no. This lady might be 70+, has no expert testimony, but worked with TH... worked in the school district.
