without being gross or graphic, the clothing found, including undies, at Horner's shed/home didn't appear in the photograph exhibits we saw yesterday to be soiled in a way that I would expect if Athena had soiled herself while clothed. That leads me to believe the soiling self more likely than not happened while she was unclothed

If the judge overrules nearly every objection by the defense can that expose the final sentencing to an appeal? I’m unclear about rules of the sentencing hearing. Letecia’s recent appeal has made me nervous.

Witness is describing forensic techniques used to locate bodily fluids from the truck. He was made aware by others involved in the investigation that Horner had attempted to clean the van, therefore a stronger light was used in their examinations.

Photos of the results of their search/examination are being entered into evidence. States exhibits 117 through 139

defense objects claiming the photos are part of a police report and therefor inadmissible as hearsay. Judge will hold on to exhibit 126 in abeyance for now, the rest are allowed.

tie down straps found in the back of the truck are featured in the first photo.

exhibit 123 is bungee cords found in the truck.

as truck was being processed the bungies and tie down straps were collected.

The fact that defense is doing a lot of objecting to further information being elicited form this witness as to why they were collected nd examined tells me all I need to know about where this may be headed

Judge George Gallagher said that even though Horner pleaded guilty, the jury will be allowed to hear the entire case so that they can decide his sentence: death or life in prison without parole. Gallagher warned that the testimony would be graphic. While we are streaming the trial, we may cut away during the more disturbing testimony, but we will return as soon as we can.
