ETA: A District track meet, eight schools, more than 100 students -- nope, this was not over at 10 AM. As a runner -- I'd still be focused, not celebrating. JMO

I think the silence from anyone official, demonstrates that they have been told to seal everything. Which shows LEO is keeping a tight lid on information. That doesn't bode well for the accused. They are building a case.

agree, LE has clamped down tightly on the evidence in this case. Can't blame them, first they are, as you, say still building the case against KA, gathering more evidence etc. but also IMO the insane amount of misinformation coming out in SM so very quickly has them holding whatever they have closely to their vests.

Other than to say the case will likely go the the grand jury by the end of June, I was surprised to read the DA was talking to media about this case -- including words about exposure and change of venue!

[Collins County District Attorney Greg Willis] Willis said he would like the trial to be held in Collin County, but because of the exposure the case has gotten, he isn’t sure Anthony would be able to have a fair trial there.

“The reason I would like the trial here is because I want Collin County citizens – the people that care the most – I want them to decide the case. If there is a trial, it may be a year, two years or maybe even three years down the road. It’s at that time the judge will decide whether or not the person accused can get a fair trial,” Willis said.

I am torn on that. I just followed the Richard Allen trial in the Delphi murders. That gag order didn't prevent the leaking of evidence and false evidence by those involved and all the gag effectively did was help garner RA more supporters because of a perceived "lack of transparency" by the court and prosecutors

And yet, if ever a case needed a gag order . . .

Kind of feels like a no win. Either way there will be negative fallout. JMO

This is what's next so there isn't a set court date yet:

"Prosecutors in this case will seek a grand jury indictment. During grand jury, only the state may present evidence. If the grand jury believes the state has the evidence to go to trial, Anthony will be indicted. If not, and Anthony is "no billed," the original charge will be dropped. The state could seek a different charge if that happens."
