I am seriously worried that KA has or will have, such a warped sense of right and wrong, that if he isn’t by some bizarre chance convicted. He’s going to be at risk to hurt someone else if set free.

I think this is typical posturing before a trial.

The prosecution is not going to drop the case and in my opinion, the defense will leverage every racists rant, conspiracy, etc. but that is not evidence to refute the basic legality of this issue. I'll bet the prosecution even insinuates that the victim said the N word. But even if that is true which I highly doubt since the perpetrator's statement to police never mentioned it, that is also not a legal right for you to stab and kill someone with an illegal weapon on school grounds.

Bottom line, I try not to get excited with all the rhetoric. I believe in juries.

Juries are generally down to earth and tend not to believe BS when they hear it.

I doubt he went to that time trouble or expense. Much easier to simply assume the title. Apparently the job of "minister of justice" only requires a criminal history that bred a hatred of the legal system and the viewpoint that a person of color charged with a crime is a victim of that legal system.

Especially if folks you didn’t know or were anonymous would give in large and/or small amounts to reach your goal, I would have been more amazed.

Unfortunately, "the fund we know about" has arbitrary rules and policies, while the newer fund has stated principles that are followed and one of them is the right to due process in criminal charges. They do not promote violence and as a Christian company, they are very careful to do due diligence and investigate all complaints. There is nothing immoral about their purpose or work.
