Far more liberal than most cities in Texas.
Ever watch Fox News? It's been an ongoing topic for years. Sanctuary City in regards to immigrants.
"In that regard, the city of Austin is a sanctuary city. The past two City Councils have adopted measures establishing the city as a place friendly to immigrants, but these policies have no enforcement power."

No, I don't watch fox news. I try to get information that is in the middle, not extreme.

Not sure where to put this.
As to the 4th bomb, it was two white men injured. Correct? Does anyone know if they are gay?
This would go along with my theory. who is being targeted, blacks, hispanics, gays.
I think this guy is very misogynistic, white separatist and is very angry the wall isn't being built.
He hates anyone who is not 'pure' or 'superior' as he sees himself. I think he's anti gay marriage, hates BLM, immigrants, women etc.
I believe he's Hellbent on building the wall himself.

No, they aren’t gay. My friend knows both of them.

We don't know the motive, yet, everyone, so please try to stay on topic. If this turns into a political debate, we will have to shut down the thread.

Meanwhile, there is a serial bomber, per LE, on the loose in the Austin area. He's going to keep doing what he's doing until he's caught.

How is he getting in and out of neighborhoods and FedEx drop off facilities undetected?

So do you think it's some conservative guy who used to work for the local Austin government in some capacity and got fired?

I don't know about someone who used to work for Austin government but I could imagine perhaps a conservative Austin native who is against some of the liberalism of Austin government/the insane growth Austin is seeing/the pushing out of natives because of increases in costs of living/just the amount of liberals around the city. I'd definitely say Austin is liberal microcosm in Texas. I'm not too sure if there was a poll that conservatives would come out on top. Although, I've always lived around places with lots of young, single, academic, people, so maybe I just don't see other sectors of the city enough.

Austin used to be a sanctuary city but since SB4, they have now started acknowledging ICE detainers (Abbott started de-funding programs for Austin's initial refusal to acknowledge the detainers). It's all controversial right now, and I'm not sure if that specifically would cause this. It seems like there are so many ways to get involved and be heard and find others who are onboard with your message if the SB4 issue is truly this person's wheelhouse.

I guess we will see what the motive is when they catch this person. I hope they do.

It's been a point of contention with some over protecting immigrants from ICE.
He has a motive we just don't know what yet until he mails in a manifesto or establishes a clear pattern. I hope he is caught sooner than later. It took over 17 years to catch the Unabomber.

Reposting this link for a live stream that another poster shared with us upthread. They are still showing meetings related to this topic.

Liltexans - I just got done speaking to a fireman who works that “box” as he called it and was part of the response to the latest even here in Travis County. I also spoke with a girlfriend whose best friend lives four houses down from the explosion. Am I allowed to share what they told me, as long as I make it clear it shouldn’t be taken as fact but as my opinion? Some interesting things.

I feel there is still something personal (& still aspects of a hate crime IMO) to this... why ship from Austin to Austin unless someone was being targeted? Unless they are just testing the waters to see if a bomb can make it through the delivery process.

You would think that this person could send the package anywhere to get the maximum terror effect, if they wanted to. Right?

I check it every now and then to see a different perspective but I tend to watch CNN, BBC, etc... Alex Jones has been ranting about Austin's issues for a while too may have raised ire in someone with a bone to pick.

IMO, it would be very difficult to ship through a package store and not get caught. I take fedex and ups packages to a package store a couple of times a month. I print the labels online. Even if the bomber uses a stolen credit card, LE will be able to track the device from which the label was purchased. If he goes into the store and pays cash, he's going to have to interact with an employee for several minutes. Even if he's wearing a disguise, the clerk would hear his voice and possibly notice other things about him. Plus its very likely the store has security cameras. As to scanning, when I bring a package into the store, I get a receipt with a scan that the package was accepted. Then it's scanned again when the driver picks it up, when it reaches the processing facility, when it leaves the processing facility....every step along the way.

I keep going back to the fact that there's a relationship between the first two victims. If the victims were chosen randomly, that would be a pretty big coincidence. If not, how does the bomber know these people?

I keep going back to this as well. He may now just been doing more and more bizarre things just to get the attention away from being connected to the first people killed/injured.

Nothing about him attracts attention. He's someone you see and don't remember. Which also means he is super calm when he's doing crazy, dangerous stuff. Not sweating or shaking or constantly looking over his shoulder. He doesn't drive a car that stands out.

I realize I just described Walter White when he isn't wearing his Heisenberg hat.

And how could he know that these two would definitely be the ones to come by first?

I don't see anyone here stating whether they are for or against a topic. I see people discussing motives without adding their personal views on that topic to the discussion. for instance, I have strong opinions on the current gun control discussion. But it has no place here. IMO, determining motive will go a long way to finding this person.

Someone asked about the Brodie Lane FedEx location compared to the others - looks super-close to the last bombing location on Dawn Song and Republic of Texas.

Zoomed in on last two:

sorry am on phone so hard for me to bold lol but as far as to sexual orientation of last 2 victims of bomb #4, how would the bomber know that they would be one's to trip the tripwire? Too much room for error jmho. Also would not go with bomb #5 jmho.

Just a thought that ran through my brain (It's probably nothing), but, I was checking venues in the region and there's a Pat Benatar show at Moody Theater, tonight, and that is kinda between attack 2 & 3. Just thought I'd toss it out, as a possibility. If anyone is going, I'd just be aware of the surroundings.
