Maybe she was carjacked. Canadian county, Oklahoma is about one full tank of gas north of McKinney, Texas. I wonder if the abandoned car was sitting on empty.

This is an old MP case, from August, 2020. Thanks to lindamichelle1 for the bump.

It appears Benita is still missing and there's not much information to go on in this case. I cannot see what's on FB but the best source of information I've found so far is this video:

Missing Person: What Happened To Benita Woody?

Reportedly Benita was last seen in McKinney, Texas on 08/05/2020, and her GMC Yukon was later found in rural Oklahoma, about four hours away from where she was last seen. From what I've read so far we don't know how it ended up there or who was driving it at the time. It's unknown whether Benita was in the vehicle.

LE hasn't released much information about her vehicle, so it's not clear why her Yukon was abandoned there. Possibly it ran out of gas but there's no information to confirm that. It's also not clear whether LE found fingerprints in the vehicle relating to Benita's disappearance.

Benita's phone was last detected in this general area of rural Oklahoma, but it's not clear whether her phone was recovered in the vehicle or if it's also missing.

The video link above refers to a burrito found in Benita's vehicle, something her family suggests Benita would normally not eat. It's unknown whether Benita purchased this burrito herself or it was purchased by someone else.

Many questions in Benita's case but very few answers.

Another case with no exposure- her family is still searching for answers! This one doesn't make sense. We are covering her case this week and the family still wants to spread awareness of her story! Someone knows something for sure.

Thanks for the bump in Benita's case. I've seen nothing new in MSM about her case in a long time.

Any reason as to why Benita had moved to TX from NJ? Also, how long ago was it she moved there? When doing a little google searching I do find some info on an address that pops up for her in McKinney - it’s owned by someone with the same last name. I wonder when they last saw her - obviously family of some sort. Prayers the family finds some info
