I believe at this point that all we can hope for the day this thread title changes to "ARREST".

So sad to watch the same stories play out over and over again.

Doubly sad as a woman.

As I understand it, they aren't investigating the dad since there is no clear evidence a crime was committed. It seems highly likely he'll get away with it if her remains aren't found.

This makes sense to me.
There have been inconsistent reports about "1600 block" (incorrect) vs. "16000 block" (correct),
and now possibly 4 a.m. Sunday vs. 4 p.m. Monday.

Even the following SAPD social-media sites were inconsistent about the block number:

It's a very helpful article (with lovely photos) but I am confused about who "Monica" is because

(a) first, the article introduces a Morgan as "Bianca's close friend"
(b) but then the article immediately quotes a "Monica."

So, it is not clear to me whether "Monica" is actually Morgan or a second person.
It reads like a mistake, but maybe I am missing something.

Help find Bianca Carrasco FB page (ran by her sister, Jovanna), says there will be another search (in the area of Bianca's neighborhood) on Sunday, starting at 11:00am.

On the Help Find Bianca Carrasco FB page there is a thank you to Monica Nevarez for contacting Dateline NBC to help get Bianca Carrasco's story
out there so I'm thinking Morgan was a typo and didn't get corrected.

My interpretation of a recent post by the admin of the "Help Find Bianca Carrasco" Facebook is that
there are antagonists and doubts that have impeded the quest for Ms. Carrasco's justice--but that there is a resolution of spiritual strength
to bring the perpetrator to justice.
