Shriya Patel is accused of killing her husband as she committed the act of arson, thus she is charged with capital murder.

I believe I heard that last week in the Brandon Daniel trial that murder by arson is considered Capital Murder.

Oh you did watch BD's trial? I really liked the part where the prosecutor showed what life without parole vs Death row would be like for him. I think other prosecutors should do the same, I've never seen that before. I thought it helped the jury. :twocents:

Yes I watched it in lurk mode. Very sad case, and BD could have cared less.

This defense attorney is crazy, blaming the PD.

Verdict watch has begun, are they going to inform the judge when they choose a foreperson? I couldn't hear that, then the video cut out.

I didn't catch that part. I thought they were going for DP. If not, then yes it would be LWOP.

YIKES! Just saw that human remains have been found not too far from me, on a construction site.

ETA: They (FBI and RR Police) are saying that they are Ancient Native American. The site was once known for arrowhead hunting. Anthropologists are on the scene.

I am okay was little stunned at first and just layed there a minute and composed myself. I hit my head on the cabinets on the bottom not the counter top. I checked my head no bleeding or bump, then realized my hand was bleeding. Got up slowly and got a band aid for my hand.

On the good side my low back had been hurting for a couple of days and it quit hurting. I have a low bad back anyway.
