This is exactly what point I was making .. listen AG said it, not me. I'm not sure if you read the affidavit and the warrant but she gave two different stories, one of them being that he opened the door and startled her and then she shot. Again, AG said it not me and again regardless if he opened the door or the door was open, she shot a man in his own house. That fact doesn't disappear and based off of my case studies and the hours I put into my degree. All I'm saying is, I don't see her getting out of this one. Maybe not murder, but I can't really see a defense on this one. The fact is that this girl committed a crime and took another persons life. I'm not sure if that you are comphending that completely or not but a family just lost a son. He will never get to get married, have kids, see his family ever again. You don't think she should be held responsible for that? She's 30 years old and you already know the jury is going to buy into her sad story - so she's probably not going to get that much time anyways. But that man won't. He's gone and she responsible. It's unfortunate because both were so young and had more in life to give if this truly was an accident but you can just who get manslaughter and who doesn't. It's law. I didn't think it was fair when my classmate got it either but it was law so it doesn't discriminate against color, age, gender etc .. everyone should be held responsible for their crimes.
