Why would K tell LL at 4:30am that they were going to tow the truck, then he goes and gets gas at 7am to put in the truck? It really didn't need gas to be towed. Did LE check to see if that gas was ever put in the truck?

They saw him buying it, didn't they? I recall LL saying that there was only a small amount of fuel in the truck which KL had put in. Surely on such a long road he'd have to put a fair bit in to get anywhere?

Just reading KL's FB page, he comes across as a lovely man :notgood:

Just because he bought gas doesn't mean he put it in the truck. Why put gas in the truck knowing it's about to be towed?

Do you remember where LL said there was a small amount of fuel in the truck? I haven't seen that. Where is the truck now?

I don't, I'll try and find it.

I agree with you, I wonder if the truck wasn't absolutely empty and that small amount of gas was already in there.

:banghead: Argh, that's really annoying me now. I can't find it. I distinctly remember reading it because I thought at the time 'what's the point in putting a small amount in if the drive is so long?'

I have read that

a. Kyle did not have money for gas so he thought he would bring the empty can to Brandon and drive Brandon to the gas station to fill it up and then back to his truck.

b. Upon arriving to the truck and meeting with the deputy Kyle had the gas can and filled then and there.

c. A deputy saw Kyle at the gas station filling the can. (Where did he suddenly get money and when did he fill it? Never said)

d. Kyle filled the tank at 4:30 am.

This is just one of the many inconsistencies.

Also, this just occurred to me, it was 1 am and K and A went to bring BL gas. Where was their son during all of this? Home alone?

Also, the gas station was 3 miles away. Not that long for a 26 year old to walk and wait, get his own gas, etc. Why all the frantic calls? I have run out of gas before but I wasn't exactly afraid for my life. I just walked to a gas station.

Was it ever confirmed that the truck was out of gas? Some trucks have electronic gas meters that only turn on when the key is in the ignition. Some have the needle that always shows the levels, whether powered on or not and some have the needle that moves to place once you turn the key.

What if he wasn't ever out of gas and that was part of his nonsensical, ramblings of someone tweeking out on meth?

Watch some youtube videos of 'tweekers'. None of them make any kind of sense whatsoever. It's absolutely horrifying.

I thought he was seen at 7am buying fuel. He'd been waiting for a pay cheque to clear or something so had money by then...apparently.

The drive to the gas station in Bronte is only about 4 miles from the truck location. 1 gallon of gas would have been plenty.

So again we have conflicting information. Did K get gas before heading to the truck and put it in while the Deputy was there? Did he get it at 4:30am or did he get it at 7am?

It's too bad we couldn't get the Sheriff's wife or even LL herself to come here and clear a few things up. At this point I am lost. I don't think I've ever seen so many inconsistencies in any MP case. I don't know if it's poor reporting, someone's lying or a total lack of communication skills. OR all of the above? I don't even know if B is indeed missing at this point!

They are lurking as I understand it. So maybe they will step up and clear things up. It would be so very helpful.

I don't either, though I am leaning 60-40 that he has passed on. Heck if the official PI timeline could be corrected and a real one done , that would be awesome.

But as my hubby always tells me; Hope is not a Strategy. :(

Why lurk? They should come join us and clear up some of these inconsistencies!

I totally agree. Why are the errors not corrected? Why are questions not answered and on FB grounds for being attacked or banned? Why not once and for all lay it all out there so Brandon can be found? Because any errors, lies , misconception , whatever only keeps Brandon from being found. No offense to anyone, but I am sorry I can not worry about LL and the kids. They have a roof over their heads and food to eat and places to sleep. As far as we know Brandon has none of that. For all anyone knows his remains are out in the middle of nowhere . He has to be found, he needs to be found.

If there are two PI's working this case as LL's has stated,, then by god post a correct timeline with FACTS!! Because the one that BP posted is a joke. Do I sounds mad? I am. I am angry because Brandon has not been found. And if by chance he is found to have ran off and staged this, fine. I will be glad he is alive and I will move on to another case. But either way, Brandon deserves to be found. And people can b***h and moan about websleuths all they want, but for some of the missing people, the members here are sometimes the only ones who keep their cases alive and devote their heart and soul to finding them. I think I am done ranting. I do feel bad for Brandon's family, but it has been painfully obvious that they have not corrected wrong information or explained very obvious discrepancies. LE has not said much and then there is the 911 call.

I hope the lurkers can stop lurking and join in and let's find BRANDON!

BRANDON WHERE ARE YOU!!

This is a :trainwreck: and it is all :cow: and my :twocents:

Where are you Brandon? What happened that night? We are all trying to find you. No matter what, we will always keep looking.

As of today BL is now friends with AK on FB. Just thought I'd let everyone know.

All I can say is :censored: All the questions that we ask, no answers. Nada. Just more errors and bigger questions.

I need a :needdrink: Every time I go to the HFBL page it is like a bunch of :lamb: ( lamb , sheep same thing. Almost )

If we go by what LL & K & A have said, what happened to BL went down in roughly 45 mins give or take? Thoughts , idea's, opinions anyone?

If he ran into trouble in San Angelo, it would have run it's course from about midnight until 1:20 which would have been an hour and 20-30 minutes.

If he ran out of gas and then had trouble, it would have taken about 30 minutes.

Either way, BL is not found and as long as the family has not told LE the whole truth from the beginning I don't think they are real inclined to go any further out of their way. According to the cnn report online there have been over 10 searches on foot and air. I think it is going to take someone happening upon a scene and reporting it to LE now.

Look how many people and places they searched for Hailey Dunn and it was a man looking for arrowheads who found her partial remains. They even had a POI. No arrest in that case and the few remains found have not been returned to family.

I am afraid there is not much more to do here but speculate and wait for more clues from LE.

One of my many opinions would be, after spending the day watching people on meth and their behavior, maybe BL was on meth, had a relapse, his paranoia about someone chasing him was when he ran out gas, maybe he tried pushing his truck, possibly changing its direction, a passing motorist (the pregnant woman) see's him, possibly with blood on his hand sitting or laying by the road. Therefore she wants to stop and give CPR, but decides not to. BL freaks by the few passing cars and possibly when the trucker passes he jumps up thinking he needs to move. He then sees state troopers on both sides of the road (the two deputies that arrive with lights on) when KL and AK arrive simultaneously. He calls 911. He runs into the woods because AK calls him and says the cops are here, he knows them and trusts them, but he's paranoid and talking to himself changing his voice playing out another character as meth users do. In a paranoid state he is panicking and starts running adrenaline pumping. Drops the phone somewhere in the woods but continues to run, maybe into the river or further into isolated area and suffers either a heart attack or passes out and the infamous mountain lion that the sheriffs wife posted a picture of finds him or a wild boar or something injures BL and he is never found again.

This MOO. But after seeing all the meth videos in stores on sidewalks etc. this just makes more sense.

My timeline is off a little, but this is one of my many opinions. :moo:
