What made you think cow tipping? Did you get it from the 911 call? Just curious if in the call about what time frame?

Yes, when I listened to the call, I heard him mention cows... And something about both sides of the road. I don't remember the times. That was a while ago. I wonder where my original posting is.....

Maybe they were STEALING cows, not tipping them. Did any cows go missing during that time?

As far as murdering over cows, drunk and psychotic people do random things. Nothing surprises me.

I was born and raised in this area and I have never heard of cow tipping. Can you tell me what it is about? I need to listen to the 911 call again. I hear a different story myself. I hear him say he "ran into" some guys which could mean several different things. I personally think he intentionally "ran into" them for a drug deal that went bad and they hurt him. He was trying to get away from them and they did find him. I am 100% sure there was another voice that said yes on the 911 call when asked if he needed an ambulance. But that is just my opinion. TYIA for the info on cow tipping. :)

IIRC, I heard two voices too, but not sure if that was after or before the brother showed up.

I also heard 'ran into', but I think he meant "came upon them'. Am I remembering right that his truck was out of gas and he was pushing it? If so, maybe in the dark he didn't see their vehicle parked and bumped it. No answers. Only questions.

Cow tipping is when cows sleep standing up and people go tip them over.

I just learned from a Google search that cow tipping is actually an urban legend. There are zero videos of anybody ever doing this on the internet.

Why is that? You mean if there are no videos of a thing it doesn't exist. I've never done it myself, but I have friends who did. They found it hysterical, I only found it to be cruel. I find cat tipping to be much more fun, and dangerous. Tip a cow and who cares, except maybe in India. Tip a cat and it will get you crucified in certain circles...

Cows don't sleep standing up. They don't see well in the dark, so they group up as a defense. I suspect that if you snuck up on one standing, it would get spooked and you'd end up pretty hurt by all the other now spooked cows.

Please don't tip any innocent animals, unless it's a game you and your pet have learned to play together. Otherwise, it's just mean.

In the 9-1-1 call, I specifically heard him mention cows.

No video of it on the internet is not proof it doesn't exist, but there have been numerous articles written on debunking cow tipping in recent years. You would think somebody would have debunked the debunkers and recorded a video of them tipping a cow if it actually is doable.

Cows '''nap''' standing up, I'm a ranch girl, as to sneaking up on one at night to 'tip' it, I don't see it happening, especially if they have calves...the only thing I can think of that would 'freeze' a cow is headlights,, it night blinds them in a sense...But one is not going to get out of the truck, in the dark, and try to knock the cow down, dumb! Well, I guess if your drunk, drugged, dumb or think it's funny like some posters you can give it a shot. I want to have the video running for the person who tries it...
I do NOT hear the word 'cow' in the 911 call, but that's just me and this cow tipping thing is ummmm.........:bricks:
Crossing my fingers that all the bizarre weather might help uncover a new clue that helps bring Brandon home!

In the beginning of the call at 22-27 seconds what do you hear? Not what did other people say they heard, what do YOU hear. I hear "pushing cows over" and then the highway towards city name then "on both sides".

Just read through the threads - this is one bizarre case. Seems too bizarre to be true. Someone is not telling the truth.

What exactly is cow tipping?? I've heard the term before but don't guess I've ever heard what it actually is....kinda like "snipe hunting" isn't really hunting...lol

Here is my interpretation of the 911 call. The more I hear it, the more I understand it. I am from this area and I hear his words pretty plainly. I know a lot of people hear trooper, but I never hear it and I'm pretty sure he is talking about cars and not cows.

9-2013 050 and 38 seconds
911: 911 emergency
BL: Yes, I'm in the middle of a field. In fact we just pushed some guys over, right here going towards Abilene on both sides. My truck ran out of gas. There’s one car here. A guy chased me to the woods. (Unintelligible to me)Please hurry!
911: Okay, now run that by me one more…
BL: And when I was talking to em I sort of (or suddenly) like ran into em
911: Oh, you ran into him, okay.
BL: Yeah-I got the first guy (unintelligible, 911 operator talks over)
911: Do you need an ambulance?
Other voice: Yeah.
BL: No, I need the cops.
911: Okay. Is anybody hurt? Sir? Hello? Hello? Hello?
Here at the end I think Brandon did not answer because he was trying to be quiet because he heard someone coming. Just my opinion here tho.

LOL!!! I used to go snipe hunting! It was so much fun with a group of innocent kids. For some reason we never found any snipes!

Thanks for transcribing. I think I listened to it back in December, so I'm going to listen again, with your transcription in mind. No matter what, that guy was scared and that's pretty sad. :(

Cow tipping is where you push over a sleeping cow. Cows sleep standing up.
