Brett Detamore has been missing since early yesterday morning.

Texas EquuSearch is already involved.

His wife is apparently a pretty popular online/SM influencer and so there are a lot of posts online because family have been using her IG account to get the word out.

Here's the FB post from LE saying his truck was found torched (that was not known initially, I don't believe, as all early posters had pictures of the very recognizeable yellow truck for people to look for):

Detamore has been missing for nearly 2 days. His new Dodge truck was found torched at the park off Clay Road. Thank you Texas EquuSearch for all your assistance.

I found some news articles on him, a burglary quite a few years ago, and a news post about his family. Nothing current that would raise any red flags. Personally, I don't see your everyday carjacker torching a new vehicle - that's like setting fire to a pile of money - but a vehicle would be burned to cover forensic evidence which is NOT good to think about. So Brett is a developer, I see several other LLC's in his name, which is common in his line of business. Wonder how his business is doing currently?

Yet another LE FB page posting about Brett. Here's a snippet and explains a bit of why they are wanting camera footage at certain times en route to/from the park, etc.

It certainly reads like LE doesn't think he's in the park.

During the initial stages of the investigation, Virtual Gate cameras were utilized to determine a time frame of when Brett left the area. His vehicle was located, burned at Bear Creek Pioneers Park (Houston) shortly after.

With the assistance of Harris County Constable Precinct 1, Harris County Constable Precinct 5 and Texas EquuSearch, a ground search of Bear Creek Park was conducted with negative results.

I follow this influencer and am shocked by this. I lost my partner to suicide and at first I was worried that could be the case here. The burned truck is very strange though. I’m very involved in the suicide loss community and haven’t seen that before which makes me worry about foul play.

It's definitely worth looking at some of the crowd sourced info on the Find Brett Detamore page...and for anyone local, where they're hoping people may have contacts as far as footage at particular times. Log into Facebook

Cameras were used to determine when Brett left the area of the Bear Creek Pioneers Park. Shortly after he left the area, his burned vehicle was located at the Park.

Do I have that right?

The concept of the camera system includes both live feed and license plate recognition (LPR) technology that captures images of license plates creating a searchable database to aid in police investigations. The design of the camera system alerts the West U dispatch center and patrol officers when vehicles that are stolen, vehicles associated with Statewide DPS alerts, or used in violent crimes enter the city. In addition, the system infrastructure supports future technological advances that may include facial recognition, motion detection and connecting with private cameras. Forty sites around the city were selected to host both types of cameras creating a “Virtual Gate” covering all entry points to the city.
