Found Safe TX - Brianna Morgan Gilbert, 22, went missing during shift break, Amarillo, 30 Mar 2021

Brianna Gilbert
we can't share anyone elses here.
I don't use FB, but FB lets me see a little bit, and seeing that first-page post and the little pic almost made me cry. The msg. seemed so sweet and so real -- oh, I hope they see each other again soon. Love is so special -- hard to find, and sometimes hard to keep. I'd hate to see this one disappear... :(

Thank you, the text now has a much different context -

I agree. I do see that there is a partial text above where Brianna texts 'okay my love'.

It sounds like they may have had some kind of disagreement.

Thank you for clarifying the S.O (significant other) is slang in Texas for someone's partner in a homosexual relationship. I had presumed 'significant other' just meant general boyfriend/husband/partner etc. as in elsewhere.
You have it right, annpats.
In Texas, SO means boyfriend girlfriend husband wife or partner of ant kind, just like it does in the rest of the world.. It means your significant other person. It has nothing to do with avoiding saying that someone is gay. I live in Texas, been here for a lot of years. Trust me, SO is simply significant other.

Seems redundant to say what time it is considering a text message sent is always sent with a time?

I’ve just gone thru her Facebook friends on that profile from 2017. I see many of them live in Edmond Oklahoma. Anyone know how long she’s been in Amarillo?

Random speculation...

Did Brianna bring a lunch with her the day she disappeared? I'm wondering if whoever she was seen with in the parking lot was there to take her to lunch. There are a number of fast food places less than a mile from the dairy. Taco Bell, McDonalds, Whataburger, etc. Plains Dairy LLC to Taco Bell - Google Maps

I am also curious if Friday, Mar 30 was payday at the dairy. But she didn't have her wallet...maybe she was trying to borrow money? MOO

I agree.

Girlfriend doesn't seem too worried at midnight when she texted. Wouldn't this have been the same time she was supposed to pick her up? I wonder if it was normal/usual for Brianna not to come out at midnight to go home. Did she sometimes get delayed?
It’s funny how differently people can interpret texts.
My first thought reading it was, she’s worried.

“I can’t sleep right”
“Wrud” (where are you dear?)
“Hmm”
“It’s been 3 hours since I’ve heard anything from you.”
“Now it’s midnight”

Thank you - I did not know what "wrud" meant!

I agree that seeing the "I love you" text in context changes things. I had been assuming it was a lone text out of the blue.

I don't know for sure either, but my first guess was "what are you doing?"
Could be either! Hoping for news today, and praying Brianna is found safe soon.

Prayers Brianna is found safely.

Could she have had an argument with someone in work? So don't want to be the one to ask this? Could it be a hate crime. Despite it being 2021 there's still plenty of people that deliberately harm anyone that's not "straight"

Hoping not with all my heart!

She left with someone who was seemingly not recognized by her coworkers, so I don't see it being work-related. The man who picked her up is key, IMO. If he's not family nor a coworker, what was he doing at her place of work? This seems prearranged. Would she leave with a stranger?

When poking around on SM I could not establish the timeline of Brianna's current relationship. It looks like it's been kept private. IMO she's too young to be the children's mother.

I agree. The statement from the family said the kids are looking forward to Easter, which means they are likely old enough to understand a holiday is coming up - so, not babies. I think they are her girlfriend's kids.

And they miss Brianna. Hope this weekend brings progress to the case.

I wonder how long the relationship was?

No, you're right. Good thinking.

I agree that I think the text makes sense in the context of the conversation and is not odd. It was sent about halfway through her break. I personally think everything was OK at the time she sent it, so whatever happened to her, probably happened between 8:17 and 8:30 when she was due back from break. Just MOO.

I don't know if we know if she smokes for sure, but even without a car, I would bet smokers would walk over to that parking lot for a smoke break. There may even be an accepted "smoking area" where smokers tended to gather. Maybe she wasn't hungry/wasn't eating on break and instead just went to smoke. Or if she doesn't smoke, she may have just wanted to get out of the building, get some fresh air, and do stuff on her phone for a bit.

I am very curious about the man she may have been seen talking to. There is a street right in front of the parking area as seen by the Google Map posted earlier. Depending where in the parking lot she was, she may have been visible by walkers/drivers going by and someone may have just seen a woman alone and approached her. JMO

Gilbert disappeared on the evening of Tuesday, March 30, during a break on her shift at Plains Dairy (300 N. Taylor). Video surveillance shows Gilbert walking to the Plains Dairy Parking lot just before 8 p.m. that night, and coworkers may have seen her talking with a Hispanic male in the parking lot around the same time.
So did coworkers see her talking to someone who MAY be Hispanic or she may have talked to someone Hispanic? Meaning, did they actually see her talking to someone? IMO

IMO could
Well, you wouldn't go out to the parking lot on your break to eat/smoke if you didn't have a car. So, she must've gone there for some other reason.
The Hispanic male that was seen talking to her..... it wasn't randomly timed, he was told to go there specifically at a certain time, when she was on her break.
And to not even finish your shift tells me either:
a) she was taken against her will.
b) she didn't care about her job and was ready to start a new life elsewhere.
MOO.
IMO maybe there could be picnic tables in/near for use for employees during breaks.

I agree the man the coworkers may have seen her with is probably key, but we don’t really know for sure that she left with him. We only know they MAY have seen her talking to a Hispanic male in the parking lot. A local said there are homeless camps around there. He could have been a homeless man who approached her for something, left and has nothing to do with her disappearance? I mean, I think it’s more likely the man is important, but we just don’t know.
