Apparently, future inmate Luis Angel Montes is still on the loose. This is the most recent news I can find:

A preliminary autopsy conducted by the Travis County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed the identity of the victim. The cause of death will be documented in the final report.
Travis County Sheriff’s Office detectives are actively investigating how long Trujillo Perez’s vehicle was in that parking lot and how it came to be there.
A murder warrant has been issued for Luis Angel Montes, 35, in connection to the murder. Montes remains at large, the sheriff said.

There is STILL a warrant out for Montes' arrest. LE believes he could be in Mexico or anywhere in the U.S.

"There was a light coming from the porch of the bank that was reflecting off the tail light of his vehicle. And what I noticed was, there was a break in that reflection. I counted that, I think, it was a little over 20 times. I also think I referred to the speed that it was being done – like someone was going back and forth, you know, quickly, at that time," Hernandez said.
Not long after, video shows Montes leaving the credit union parking lot in his car. But then, at 2 a.m., he returns.
"We see him arriving in what we believe was an Uber or Lyft," Hernandez said.
He then got into Trujillo Perez's car and drove off, toward Lake Pflugerville, where detectives believe he spent some time possibly getting rid of evidence. Meanwhile, back at the credit union, hours later, employees spotted a pool of blood where Trujillo Perez's car had been parked.
