Why would she go walking alone in the dark in an area known for possible trafficking?
It isn't. It's Daily Mail sensationalism. I live down the road and walk in this area all the time. It's no different than suburbia than anywhere else in the US.

The Daily Mail is not familiar with suburban Bexar County. They are probably referring to signs they see in the airport restrooms. This area is not known for human trafficking anymore than any other suburban area in the US.

This is the exact same neighborhood where Mariadelis Labrador Siles disappeared. However, her death was eventually ruled a suicide. The area is not known for human trafficking. I live in the area and walk in the area all the time at all hours. It's no different than anywhere else in the US.
It's just the Daily Mail spin.

Yeah, if you go to a truck stop, there is prostitution. Also, there have been some events (conventions etc where there has been some trafficking) There are warnings about it at the airport restrooms. There has also been some exploitation of immigrant communities. (Massage parlors etc) However, I don't know what the Daily Mail is getting at. It's no different than anywhere else in the US.

i think people see a pretty and happy looking girl and their mind tends to go to someone preying on her a lot quicker than mental health issues etc. which is understandable, and i’m not ruling anything out with the little information we have so far! but statistically the chances of going missing voluntarily are the highest. i wonder if she had anything to be stressed or worried about. i hope she’ll be found safely soon!

About the houses. On old Google map photos, one house has a garage. I wonder if Camila’s house has one as well? With the family members being away, why did she park in the front?
Most garages are storage areas here. We don't have basements.

A few people manage to have cleaned out garages, but we don't. So our vehicles are in the driveway and on the street.

For a few years, we had my car in the garage. Then my MIL died and our garage was full of stuff again and my vehicle ended up in the driveway. Now, hubby has a large table where a car would go...sigh....

Curious if she ever visited anyone on her walks. If so, hopefully history of that will appear on her phone.

If there are any locals here, please surround her family with caring support and non-judgment. My heart goes out to them.
I'm kinda curious about her walks. Were they also for "socializing"?

If they were at odd hours, maybe they were.

You might be right, but I'd offer that it isn't necessarily either an abduction or mental health. People can and do walk away/run away from family without being mentally ill. All we know now is that police consider it suspicious and they know more than we do about the case, so I'm inclined to go with that. But if it turns out there's no one else involved and she just walked off on her own, there's no evidence or indication at all that she's mentally ill.

MOO.

I used to live in AZ and most people who walk/run would do so early in the morning or after the sun goes down just due to the heat. I'm not familiar with the temps this time of year in San Antonio, but I wonder if that played a role? Also, could be due to work/school schedule and just part of her daily routine. MOO.

I live in an area where people walk and jog at all hours. I don’t feel she was meeting someone since she had her pj’s on. She may have been in the wrong place at the wrong time for someone to have noticed her. Are we sure ICE did not pick her up? It’s happened in other areas of the Country.

That’s her standing at the white car in the back correct? Am I crazy or are the headlights and taillights on, but the interior lights are not? Was the car running?

When I look at the stills of this footage I feel like something is off but can’t put my finger on what.

Footage from a neighbor's surveillance camera showed an individual believed to be Mendoza Olmos standing near her vehicle with the lights on at 7am on Christmas Eve, and she hasn't been seen since

I don't find it strange at all either. It was Christmas and there may have been extra family members who gathered for the celebrations.
Neither do I, many families in this economy have multi-generations living in the same home to bring down the cost of living - or simply live together by choice. This isn't something that's related to Camila going missing, IMO.

It was 66 degrees the morning she went missing, daytime temps were in the mid 70's. I checked because she was wearing shorts, which I thought odd at this time of year - until I checked the temps.

I think an unplanned situation after leaving on foot is statistically more likely than a carefully planned disappearance.

If we consider:
-it was early morning
-she left without her phone or belongings
-friends and family say this is out of character
-CLEAR alert suggesting immediate risk

It leads me to believe the most likely scenarios are:
-an encounter with someone opportunistic
-injury/medical issue and disorientation

I don’t believe she’s a runaway. I hope investigators are thoroughly canvassing her neighborhood and looking at dash am and ting footage of the area.

Wow. I assumed it would be much colder given its winter there. I’m in the southern hemisphere.

For others 66 to 70 is a range of 18 to 21 degrees Celsius.

IMO, that often involves confusion over identity or immigration status. Not a consideration in this case with Camila

I wonder if someone called her over?

How do we know though? Was it said somewhere? Even US citizens have been detained for several days before their identity was confirmed. If she went outside without any belongings, she wouldn't have identification with her. The only thing that makes me think this isn't ICE-related is that it's been 4 days so I feel like law enforcement likely already explored this angle. Otherwise, it seems like a plausible theory to me.

Didn't she have her car keys and drivers licence?
