The ex-boyfriend is taking part in the searches for her, according to a news link posted earlier in the thread. That is a good sign that he is cooperative.
I don't know... I still believe she self-dissapeared. The ex helping out is not always indicative as a sign of innocence. We've seen many cases over the years where the bad guy has posted up flyers and did more searches than anyone. I grew up in Philly with a girl whose mother killed her. The mom was on TV pleading for daughter to come home, all the while she had shot her to death days ago.

Sadly, when I read about young adults in college who go missing without clear evidence of foul play, my first thought is always mental break or self-harm, never human trafficking.

IMO, Mental health among young people is a crisis of epic proportions in this country. I have two friends who have each lost a teen to suicide, but none whose children have been abducted and trafficked.

I pray this beautiful young lady will be found safe and that she just needed a break.

Well geeeez. Why are we just hearing about this case now...
I would think that locals would have been trying to connect these two cases from day one.
She has her own thread on WS.

Uh, no. The illegal immigrant from Mexico hunted the 20-year-old Mollie Tibbetts down, abducted her & brutally stabbed her to death.

wasn’t Mollie Tibbetts struck by a driver that dumped her in a cornfield because he was afraid to call 911 due to his immigration status? Or am I misremembering that?
As to Mollie Tibbetts,
You are both right, kind of ---The illegal immigrant did hunt her down and abducted and killed her. But subwa was correct in that the killer used that excuse in his trial testimony---claiming he dumped her in the cornfield after accidentally killing her because he was afraid to report it because he was illegal, BUT HE LIED.

There is a thread on here but not much more info than what was stated

I do agree... that enhanced photo really looks male to me.
i can't be confident of gender based on that view. could just be baggy clothes, or something.

IMO the person in the picture does look about the right height to be camila, assuming that's an altima (roof height 4'10"), and given her listed height of 5'4".

i'd be shocked in this day and age if there wasn't a bunch more doorbell and dashcam footage.

I'm not reading anything in official statements about her wearing shorts.

What would be a reason for LE deliberately misleading by stating the figure in the camera video is Camila? To draw out an abductor? I know they are adamant that the figure is Camila, and they have the benefit of tech to scrutinize, but I cannot see how that dark male figure is a young woman dressed to go running. Moo

Hoping that she can be found ok

if a young woman with everything going for her is at risk of self-harm, that just goes to show mental illness is irrational. people have this tendency when they hear someone is depressed to be like "what are you depressed about?" or if someone suffers from anxiety, "what are you anxious about?". it's not necessarily about anything -- that's why it's a disorder. it's about chemical imbalances. or mental habits being tied in knots.

still hoping for the best here of course.

In my experience with teens, when the phone dies, the call is sent to voicemail immediately. Also in my experience with teenagers, the phone dies constantly because they use it in bed and don’t charge it. So if the phone was completely without power, mom would not hear it if she called it.
My experience with teens is even if the phone is charged they have it on silent as they don’t really do voice calls IMO

Well ... I see black hoodie, black pants, black shoes ... why are we given the description light blue hoodie, light blue pajama shorts and white shoes?? Why?
This! I also see a more typical male stance with the legs nearly a shoulder's width apart. And the person looks taller than five ft four. MOO

Is that an open garage door behind the red car?
Also a female does not have that stance with legs wide and feet turned out. It’s a male IMO

IMO the details of this investigation are strange. “Labrador Siles was last seen at 9 a.m. Monday when she went for her walk. Officials believe she was wearing a blue light jacket with black Puma shoes that have pink soles. She was described as a fitness and walking enthusiast, known to enjoy her daily walks. She was known to leave her belongings, including her phone, Salazar said.” What was called the suicide of Mariadelis Labrador Siles happened at wildhorse hoa sports park in March of2025 which is near where CO lives. The circumstances surrounding MS's death sound very sketchy to me as a machete and shovel were found in the vicinity of her body. She died of what LE said was a self inflicted stab wound to her chest. No info on the weapon used to commit suicide, which is strange in and of itself as well as one taking one's own life with a stab to the chest. I don't know what to make of it as the details are really lacking......Guess time will tell if there is any connection.....JMOO

Excellent catch Wishbone! The location is in the same neighborhood as Camilla.

It was a mere 9 months ago and the circumstances are nearly identical. "She was described as a fitness and walking enthusiast, known to enjoy her daily walks. She was known to leave her belongings, including her phone, Salazar said."

Yes I know Cami wasn't known to leave her phone. But she did leave her phone on this day.

A neighbor’s home security camera shows a person standing outside of Camila’s car on the morning of Dec. 24. BCSO confirmed the person in the video obtained by KSAT is Camila Mendoza Olmos.

Mendoza Olmos was last seen at 6:58 a.m. Wednesday, outside of the family home, in the 11000 block of Caspian Spring in northwest Bexar County.

Camila’s phone and all belongings, except her car key, are still at home, including her car. Her friends said she normally goes on walks, but also said she always has her phone with her.

Her family members drove 17 hours from California to Texas to help search for her along with more than 100 other people, according to Camila’s dad, Alfonso Mendoza.

Interesting case. I pray she is found..
